Summary

They seem to keep competing for Charlie's parental affections. One night, they see that there's a gap in Charlie's life that needs filled, and a deal that Alastor needs to get out of.

Summary
Nothing in life is certain, except death, taxes, and Alastor and Vox. Somehow, no matter what universe they’re in, the two manage to find each other.
Alastor is nine years old when V and his fancy family move into the fancy house at the end of his street, the one that’s been under renovation for over a year. They’re not at all how Alastor expects. He’s never met anybody as cold and controlling as V’s parents, and he’s never met anyone he’s liked as much as he likes V.
They quickly become friends after Alastor saves V from a cruel punishment in the Louisiana sun, and V finds himself welcomed into a family where nobody yells at each other, where nobody gets hit for misbehaving, and where he can be free for the first time in his life.
What kind of men can two boys become when they don’t have to grow up surrounded by loneliness and tragedy?

Hell is a cesspool that most of it's denizens deserve. You, on the other hand, are a different story. Your soul was promised before you were even born. You didn't have a choice but to be here, no matter how you lived your life. Hell was certainly interesting and after a couple of months, you were getting used to the chaos.
Alastor, The Radio Demon, struck fear in the hearts of lesser demons but your heart was just plain stolen. The charismatic killer could tame you with a smile and either to your dismay or delight he was starting to notice. All of hell was beginning to call you his Dead Air Doll.
