Summary
In canon, Branch lives alone well into adulthood, surrounded by people who can't understand why he is the way he is and unwilling to try to understand until decades later.
In this universe, Branch is found by people who didn't understand, but learned to. And despite the fact those people are supposed to be far too different from him, he feels more like them than he has anyone else.
A 'Branch gets adopted by the Rock Trolls' fic because I fell into a Trolls rabbit hole and I have to be the entertainment I want to see.

Summary
This wasn’t a forest. This was a wasteland. Low hill slopes, and shallow valleys of black ashen rock and frayed thread stretched endlessly before Branch. The sun blared down relentlessly, bright and burning. Hot wind whipped and whirled with wild waves and gusts. It threatened to topple the grey trolling over, blowing with such strength that the lose flecks of the slope tops were pulled from their places and danced in a black blizzard over this burnt boiling tundra.
Branch let out a whine, his ears drooping further. Where was he?

Dante Crescendo needed a lesson in humility, DreamWorks went about tackling that issue in perhaps the most ridiculous and insincere way possible.
The take away should not have been "Sauce!"

Summary
Barb convinces Branch to do the world tour... at a price.
Barb accidentally triggers his fears of abandonment, implying that everyone will leave Branch if they don't do this. Due to [Spoilers], Branch fully believes that and starts the world tour with Volcano Rock City. He puts Billy, his friends and [Redacted] in cages, terrified that they'll leave him if they have the chance to do so.
Barb realizes her mistake but is unable to convince Branch off this path, so she leaves and joins up with Poppy to stop Branch. This of course makes Branch more resolute in his plan, as Barb, the one person he'd thought wouldn't leave him, abandoned him.
He has doubts about the plan at times, but he realizes that he's already gone too far. If he lets everyone go, they'll run away and he'll never see them again. He keeps going because if he backs out he'll lose it all.Series

After Brozone broke up, Floyd left to pursue his solo career, but he promised his baby brother, Branch that he would come back. During his solo career journey, he stumbled into Rock Troll territory and met Queen Barb of the Rock Trolls. He becomes a pop and rock troll. Twenty years later, Queen Barb announces her world tour, but it was a way to get all of the strings to make every troll live under Rock. Floyd wasn't a fan of the plan, so he snuck away to warn the other tribes of Barb's plan. And during his stay in one of the tribes, he sees someone he never thought he would see again, his brother Branch.

Summary
Here's an question for you all;
What if DJ was old enough to remember living in the Troll Trees? What if she knew Branch growing up before he turned grey? What if she and Branch...were friends?
This is the Strange Friendship AU, a retelling of the Trolls franchise using personal ideas and headcanons from myself and a number of other writers. A few things to note is;
- DJ plays a far larger role here with ties to Reggaeton, Techno and Funk thorugh her ancestry and brother Cooper. She is present in both World Tour and Band Together, playing much larger roles than in canon.
- There'll be a few ships throughout the series. Primarily is Branch/Poppy. The secondary ship will be DJ/Trollex along with others.
- DJ Suki and Branch are friends here (Even though Branch will deny it at first). They knew each other before the Great Escape
- Clay and Floyd stayed after BroZone split but Clay got separated from Branch and Floyd during the escape.
