Summary
Richie remembers, but not everything.
He remembers that Stanley Uris was the best, that they went on Indiana Jones missions in the rain, drank coffee with too much milk and sugar, had sleepovers and talked late at night. He also remembers the bittersweet feeling of loving, wanting to be loved and how complicated things could get when the butterflies flutter at the wrong time, when thinking about the wrong person, of the wrong gender. Richie remembers his friends and the world they created, a separate world that's in Derry, but not quite Derry at all. Spring cleaning the clubhouse, the high school graduation, getting kicked out of class. Teasing, laughing, crying. The frustration of wanting more, of wanting less.
He's now 44 years old and finally makes the journey back to reunite with everything he left behind - with everyone he left behind. Unfortunately, he does not remember that two of his favorite people won't be able to meet him there. But then again - nobody who dies in Derry ever really dies, right?

27 years of slumber is a long time.
The Losers Club think they defeated Pennywise after the clown has put them through a grinder of fear and horror.
Years go by and the Losers club drift apart while thinking Pennywise is dead. Most of them move out of Derry. Their memories slowly fade and they forget they faced IT when they were children.
What if Pennywise never went to sleep?
That he loses most of his powers for 27 years and needs to take on his human form of Robert Gray, cursed to roam around Derry?He would be bored as hell.
Until he finds someone special to toy with to keep him busy until he gets his powers back.

Essentially a fic that follows the losers club after the first movie. This fan fiction ignores anything canon after the first film, picking up where it ends and diverging from IT Chapter Two. Basically, IT if the losers defeated Pennywise the first time around and got a chance at a happy, normal life.

That voice, that fucking voice, was driving him nuts. Not in a bad way, but in a confusing way. Where the fuck did it come from? Never did Richie really think things through before. Never did he have the confidence to flat out tell Lane that he wanted to write his own material. Never did he actually go off script at a show and wing it. But that last one led to some of the most genuine laughs Richie had ever heard from an audience. But still, what the literal fuck?

~Feeling inspired after watching Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Richie and Eddie decide to end their school year by playing hooky and attempting to reenact the best shenanigans from the movie... at least as much as Derry will allow them.

This shit should’ve been easy, y’know? You pretend to date your best friend so everyone else thinks you have found your soulmate. Richie had been praying for years that he would find the person made specifically for him. However at seventeen and he had yet to have his soulmark- It was concerning, He was starting to think that.. Maybe, Well maybe he was just one of the unlucky few that never found their other half.
So the plan came along easily, One day- He was sprawled out on his bed, His best friend. It was late August and he was fucking melting in the heat, Eddie had his legs on top of Richie’s just laid out trying to cool off, With a Comic held above his face.
Richie wasn’t as easily distracted that day, He was lost in thought, His music blaring- He prefered loud obnoxious songs any day compared to silence. Yet, His thoughts were running rampant.
“Eds, Do you think I’ll ever find my soulmate?” The question had Eddie seizing.
“Yeah, Obviously..Everyone has them.” He dropped his comic down onto the bed and sat himself up.
