Summary
James Potter navigating changes in his life after a drastic change in his hearing loss leads to him using hearing aids for the first time since he was a child. Its daunting at first, and some unwelcome situations arise because of the change, but when the dust starts to settle James discovers there are things to enjoy in life he'd never thought possible. And that's how he falls in love with drumming. Maybe, one day, he'll fall in love with something (or someone) else.

Hermione thought it was all a stupid idea at first, singing stupid songs and learning stupid lyrics and playing stupid chords in Harry’s parents’ garage, until they all found themselves playing together in front of 2000 people in wizard festivals. Becoming a rockstar wasn’t on Hermione’s bingo card.
Hermione could tolerate Harry’s boyfriend playing in her band. Draco was a little shit, but he was manageable. But Pansy Parkinson? Hell no! Even if she can play bass like a goddess, even if her black hair shines, even if her green eyes pierce through Hermione’s soul, even if her lips are more alluring than a fresh glass of water after a day under the sun.
Truth was, Hermione really wished Pansy wasn’t THAT good with the bass. She also wished she didn’t accidentally got dumped on her birthday by Ron, just like she also wished Pansy would stop hanging around in all their shared spaces wearing nothing but a towel.
