In the time since Duncan and Amos left the Circle Tower, they had made little progress. At midafternoon on the first day, when Duncan stopped them to pull out his well-worn map and remind himself of their journey, the distance between the tower and their current location was the size of Amos's thumbnail. He decided, over the next three days, that he hated travelling. His feet ached. His brow was beaded with sweat. His stomach turned over, in part because he was unused to eating as little as he had eaten in the past few days, and in part because he was still scarred after the events that had taken place at the Circle. He spent most of every day waiting for the moment that Duncan told him it was time to settle down for the night, but even when Duncan made camp and prepared the campfire, Amos felt nervous and unsettled. The woods around them were dark, the air was cold, and he felt at all times like he was about to be attacked and had no idea how he would fight back against his would-be attackers.
How is it that he felt more like a caged animal in the wilderness than he did in a prison?

A shame to see the young Amell cut down by templars, but surely he must have anticipated such reprisal when defending a maleficar. Granted, reason seldom has purchase where matters of the heart are concerned, and fewer things are closer to the heart than a dear friend. Still, I cannot fathom why that Grey Warden would knowingly recruit a Blood Mage, right in front of the Templars no less! Clearly he does not fear sullying the reputation of his order more than he fears the Blight.

Summary
A head injury lands a woman in the middle of the wilds in the care of the Daelish. She quickly learns where she is and, more importantly, when she is, using her knowledge of Ferelden and the circumstances before the battle of Denerim to help a group of wardens, and those who have come to their aid, to change their destiny.
Going in my own direction but maintaining many of the plot points from the game (I do not own any characters but my OFC and the Wardens I made up, btw). Many of you have inspired me, thank you all!
