    Billa Baggins thought she was an ordinary, well-to-do, firmly settled and respectable hobbit lass of good family and unimpeachable reputation.
    Clearly, she was wrong.
    Billa finds herself swept away on an unexpected adventure with stubborn dwarves, making friends and enemies along the way. When finally her dwarves' precious Mountain is reclaimed, she thinks that she will be a settled and respectable hobbit (of sorts) but of course, nothing could ever be so simple.
    Usurpation, assassination, torment and fear plague her every step. Her new family is at stake, and there's more danger than one little hobbit can deal with.

    Patterns and echoes of what she knew was supposed to happen - she could see them everywhere. She was what was wrong in the picture, the thing that shifted everything and caused devastating changes, and yet even then the weave of history showed a similar image to what she had expected.

    Being reincarnated into the body of an Elf, growing up in Rivendell, it had always sounded like a dream to her. It was both a dream and a nightmare. Love and grief were inseperable for her, even when she was surrounded by people who were supposed to be immortal. The future loomed menacingly ahead, promising war, love, and even more loss.
    She didn't want it. She wanted freedom to choose her own fate, and she wanted the freedom to explore Middle-earth.
    What would you do with three thousand years? Well, she certainly wasn't going to spend them sitting in Rivendell.

Both Eldar and Edain agree, these are unmistakable signs of aristocratic heritage. Add in a handful of Sindarin and Quenya, and her unnervingly accurate foresight - a gift of Elros’ line - and it’s no surprise people start making… assumptions.

    So when the universe decides you’re Princess Tindómiel, who are you to argue? (Except you do argue. They just don’t listen.)

    Isekai/self-insert with the canon doing allllll the heavy lifting and slotting you straight into the legend. Starts years before LotR, about a decade pre-Hobbit.

    After the crumbling of the keep, the Valar send Cersei to Middle Earth, sort of as a redemption opportunity. Now she has to adapt to life as an elf in Rivendell, another sister, another daughter - while another war is brewing on the horizon.
    It's a war that brings a familiar face in her line of sight, and damn it, she is supposed to help these people, not start an additional war between elves and humans because her son might or might not have wanted his head in another world.
    So yes, maybe Boromir and her are not the best of friends - but does it truly matter when the stakes are so high.

    Aka my take on the 10th walker mixed with a crack-crossover and bonding over Tywin and Denethor's A+ parenting.

    Somehow it also turned out to be a bit of a character study about a woman who truly needs a couple of thousand years to come to terms with the fact that love might not always be hurtful and hateful.

And Frodo's thoughts blend with the memories of the Ring Bearers and Sauron himself, as reality itself starts to fall apart to him.

    With a blank stare she scanned the dwarf.
    ‚Oh Yavanna, how cruel of you‘
    Another moment the hobbit stood in the half open door, slowly realizing what was happening. In her empty eyes a spark lit up, after a long and cold winter. A single teardrop ran down her cheek, breaking her numbness.
    „You are alive?“ She wispered under her breath.
    Before Dwalin could react the small hobbit jumped at him, hugging the big warrior and sobbing at his chest.
