One night, when hanging out with friends and being pressured into having her first alcoholic drink, someone had added a little extra to knock her out. During the kidnapping, the effect wore off, escaping into the woods and stumbling upon a lost structure in ruins.
Until a portal activated and gave her a choice of either enter or not; of course, it was obvious. With the adventure she was about to embark on, she will discover her purpose, save worlds in danger, and fall in love. Though her choices aren’t precisely human; as she’s the only one around.

Summary
Skylands was never a particular interest among Marinette’s classmates. Except maybe Max. His fondness for the games, and indeed his own secret nature as a Portal Master, was only divulged to a select few. Until one day, his portal accidently sucks him and his classmates into Skylands.
There was good reason for this. Years ago, three of the teens among them were the twins of the Skylands royal family and their time-travelling bodyguard, destined for greatness and a legacy beyond any could anticipate. Until Master Eon learnt of a disturbing chain of events, that those three children were the key to vanquishing the forces of the Darkness and restoring peace to Skylands. But the herald of the Darkness learnt of this prophecy, forcing Eon to send the three newborns out of Skylands to keep them safe.
Now the children’s past is about to catch up with them, as Kaos and his family plan to conquer Skylands once more. The three heirs to a forgotten legacy must deal with these new revelations as their friends struggle to adapt to this new world, if the barriers between dimensions are to remain stable, and the return of the Darkness is to be averted…
