Summary
Thunderclan medicine cat Jayfeather is known for two things: his blindness and grumpiness. But his true identity is a leader of a back-alley gang: Dark Ashes. If hiding his counter ego from his clanmates and family isn't enough, he soon gets his very own apprentice: Alderpaw, who might pretty much ruin everything he's ever worked for.
This story is set in a more anthropomorphized world of Warriors, and pretty much has nothing to do with the actual series. So that explains most of the plot.

“Does it feel strange?”
Hyunjin looked up, feeling his fingertips begin to tingle from the cold. They continued walking down the sidewalk, the rain softening to a mist as it fell gently on them. The water underneath the bridge was loud, a lovely rush filling their ears. He shoved his hands in his pockets and tugged his coat closer around him, murmuring,
“Does what feel strange?”
Changbin looked at him with a soft, sparkling gaze. He paused for a long time before saying, low and serious, “It’s 2 am and you’re not running.”
Smiling, Hyunjin ducked his head, and they kept walking silently, crossing the bridge and getting closer to the intersection of the restaurant. He let a long moment of quiet go by before he whispered, his words almost getting lost in the night air,
“It does feel strange, but … it’s not all terrible. I’m with you. I don’t need to run. From anything. For anything-“ he tried so hard to get through the whole sentence but had to stop, his throat closing and eyes burning. He stopped walking and covered his eyes with his hands, biting back a broken whimper, and hanging his head in shame.

"Why you make it so complicated?"
Osamu has been his ride-or-die since Freshman year. They met under the bleachers while they were both skipping classes, and have been inseparable ever since. Osamu would accompany him on his runs, bring over snacks whenever he got the munchies, massage his sore muscles after volleyball practice, and whenever he needed a shoulder to cry on he was right there. The crying on the shoulder though had seemed to be the interactions that have been happening the most.
He would do anything just to see the brunette smile. He loved it dearly since he didn’t do it much. They had their first blunt, drink, and kiss (long story) together. He wouldn't want it any other way.
