Bart wasn’t alone.
He’d suspected it for months. He’d seen the giant ship when he’d surfaced after the huge earthquake a while ago, though it didn’t seem like there were any survivors at first. But then he saw things that were strange, out of place. It was inconspicuous at first. Wounds on some creatures that couldn’t have been made naturally, wounds that looked like they were made by a knife. Things like Stalker teeth or limestone outcrops disappearing from the location he’d seen them mere days before. At first he’d thought it was the last of his sanity slipping away.

Landing on the unknown planet-4546B, you are left racing against the clock to find the cure for this strange bacteria that is infecting your systems and preventing you from leaving the planet safely.
Now, if only those two giant-leviathan classified creatures that have been playing with you since day one would decide if they wanted to eat or help you, your job would become so much easier.

i’ll come back to this one. twenty chapters in and it just feels like a transcript of the game with some flavour text thrown in, but there’s SO MUCH POTENTIAL!!! twin intelligent alien fishboys making a more engaging hunt out of you by playing with their food at every opportunity until they make a genuine connection with you?? that is awesome. but… the writing itself does leave a lot to be desired - it’s not bad, just amateurish. doesn’t really dig into you and hold on like a more seasoned writer can. and being the impatient bitch i am, I summarily dropped it.

The Starboard pods were destroyed by the initial blast, none launched.
25 pods successfully launched from the Broadside bay.
10 would land in the raised volcanic area, the rest either burning up in the atmosphere, being crushed by the Aurora or landing in the void.
Only 2 successfully deployed their flotation devices, the others would sink to the ocean floor, no matter how deep.
Within 8 hours of planetfall there was only one survivor.
