Summary
In a time of relative peace, Hyrule's world is turned upside down when malice begins to seep from the very core of the kingdom. Cut to a stone, a history...or rather a prophecy? A strange Hylian depicted amongst it all.
What if Link were the one transported back in time instead of his princess? What if Ganon were far more insidious than the strange murals beneath the castle could have ever portrayed?
Link meets a familiar face hidden beneath the catacombs of the castle though he does not know it yet, and he must find his way home again. But can he do so when he is not even certain he was ever supposed to be here in the first place?
The voice sends shivers up his spine, raising the hairs at his nape.
The Demon King growls, "Hello, pet."
He doesn't know if the goddess means for him to survive this.

100 years ago, The Avatar, with the princess at his side, was training to master the elements and to take down a powerful dark spirit called Calamity Ganon that was said to shroud the land in darkness. It was written that only the princess born with powers given to her by the spirits could calm him after the Avatar used the 4 elements to weaken it. However, time was not on their side. The masters were killed, and the Avatar was left severely wounded. The princess had him sent into the Shrine of Resurrection to keep him alive. And it is said that for the last 100 years, the princess has been in Hyrule Castle holding back Calamity Ganon from destroying the kingdom.
Now, a young boy named Link wakes up in a strange tomb, with no memories of who he is. All he has to guide him is a mysterious voice, a strange tablet, and an old man.
After Link learns that he is the Avatar, and has been asleep for the last 100 years, he now must travel across the kingdom to find teachers to help him master the elements before the princess runs out of power and Ganon is released into the world once again. Will Link be able to master all the elements with the threat of Ganon’s escape looms on his shoulder, all while suffering amnesia?

Summary
Neither Link or Zelda had a chance to respond before the mummy held its hands over its chest and gathered the smoke-like gloom that seeped from its chest. With a guttural roar, it raised its arms. The gloom surged upwards and violently collided with the cavern ceiling above.
Zelda could only stare in horror before the ground cracked underneath her feet. She gasped, stumbled back, and fell backward. Link jumped after her, face twisted in panic and pain, and reached out to her with his damaged arm. They just brushed fingertips before Zelda felt herself come to an abrupt stop in the air, and Link fell past her. He twisted in the air, trying to grab onto her outstretched arm, but to no avail.
“Link!” Zelda screamed, watching in horror as Link tumbled into the depths below, swallowed by the darkness.
After that, she felt a tug on her arm, and the world went white.

Meanwhile, the Master Sword calls for its master. Knights from every corner of Hyrule gather, each desperate to prove themselves worthy of wielding the blade. Desperate to prove they are more than disposable tools.

He wakes up in the shrine of resurrection with nothing but destiny to his name, and the quest he has laid out before him will be a long and arduous one. How will he reconcile what he has to be with who he really is? With the weight of the world on his shoulders, and not nearly enough sleep in his system, that may be more difficult than he realizes.

It varied a little between kingdoms, but for Hylians, there were four major scent glands: one on each wrist, and another just below the jaw on each side of the neck. Correspondingly, Link wore two thin metal cuffs and a choker with a small pendant, each one engraved with an array of Sheikah runes.
A lot of people asked why Link dampened his scent until he smelled of nothing at all. He’d never seen a reason to give them an answer.
Despite this, no one ever seemed to have difficulty identifying Link as an alpha. It was in the confident way he carried himself, in his unflinching gaze, the lack of hesitation in everything he did. It didn’t matter that his stature was short and delicate; there were plenty of alphas twice his size with half his quiet authority. That he never got caught up in territorial spats or lost his cool around an omega in heat just meant that he had excellent self-control.
The truth, of course, was that Link was broken. Wasn’t that what everything boiled down to?
