Summary

But that's all in the past now, returning to a clinic for Paranormals they have made their own they even picked up a couple new members along the way. With things having settled in for their "happily ever after" a feeling of...comfortable listlessness has settled over them as they no longer have anything left to distract them from the powerful feelings that have been ignited within their little band.

Irony must be a driving factor in Aloy's life; AETHER is meant to stabilize the air, but to get it she has to partner with a cold vortex of a man that quite obviously hates her company. The feeling is painfully mutual. Kotallo has been denied death, and cannot see his task of escorting an outlander in a doomed mission as anything other than an insult. The commonalities between them are barely enough to fill the surface of a coin and they'll surely kill each other before they even make it to the Bulwark.
Or, perhaps, they are both sides of it--alike and unable to realize it for the line separating them. Perhaps, instead of killing each other, they'll be able to work together after all.
