Picking up right where we left off in He Can Be Strong For Someone Else - Act 2.
Kirkwall is as hard to stomach as ever even though things have calmed down some.
All Cullen can do is the best he can. Try to uphold his duty and his conscience and straddle the gap between the two.
The thing is...lines are beginning to blur. All kinds of lines, not just between mages and templars or demons and magic.
He's still possessed, he still has nightmares, he still can't sleep. But maybe he's learning from all of this.Once again I state that I am being very fast and loose with the timeline here, so things can move and shift a bit to match up with the course of events for the story. Nothing is concrete except the scenes that have been detailed and if I come up with more scenes to add, they’ll come as new posts outside of each Act. I have thought of a few already.

In a fictional game world, where one is not the heroine, and one’s skills are mostly useless, what can one girl to do? Will she ever find her way back home? Why does Cullen aka. Discount Chris Evans keep finding ways to troll her so, intentionally or unintentionally? Why does she keep remembering memories of one mage deceased more than ten years ago? Also, her avatar is an elven version of the Mother of Dragons. What could possibly go wrong?
Note: It's an MGiT that incorporates elements of k-drama style makjang. Because why not? There will be some twists on the MGiT genre.
I wrote this in response to one post I made in the Dragon Age fan fiction facebook group about not having a lot of women-of-color in Modern-Girl-in-Thedas fics. I wanted to write a protagonist who looks a lot like me. Like the protagonist, I am also very busy with grad school so I will make no promises about posting schedule. But I will not abandon this fic.

Formerly of the circle, Miriam Amell has gone through hell in her short life: Circle nor the templars, were kind on her, and she made sacrifices to protect the one person she cared about. Constant bitterness remained through it all, despite her resisting it.
Once she joined the Grey wardens, Miriam dedicated herself for a single purpose: a goal greater than herself (which, to her delight, existed outside the chantry). Despite her cranky nature, Miriam made sure the blight was defeated, and future ensured. A new symbol for dedication was born.
Now, the hero of Fereldan and leader of Grey wardens of Fereldan, she has taken upon herself the burden of command. Although she learned much about loyalty during the Fifth Blight, she still has a long way to go. Victory didn't guarantee absolute trust.
A man, who has spent a time in her cells, may be the key, for her to learn true comradery... and something else.
