What if he had doubts about it? Includes and mentions kids Stuart knew from the orphanage (OCs) I reference in other SL fics. Posted to Fanfic a while back, just wanted to import it here. Mostly because I have some (shitty) art of the boyos Flynn, Andy and Derry to add, and archive is neat that I can just add it in text like that.
Rated T for cussing because I just can't imagine kids like these, inspired by the kids I grew up with, not cussing to each other when the adults aren't around, so I gave up.

The elevator pilings and finally comes to a stop. The doors open slowly, and Peter bounces his leg impatiently, pushing through the narrow opening before they open fully. His backpack almost snagged in the process.
“I came as quickly I could,” He pants stepping into the penthouse, “Where’s the fire?”
It had been nearly twenty minutes since Tony called him, asking him to hurry to the tower. Peter’s mind was racing with things that could have gone wrong, ranging from a full-on Alien invasion to a minor incident with Hydra. The latter is more likely on this partial afternoon.
Tony emerges from around the corner, a smirk playing on his lips, as Morgan runs past him and right up to Peter. Her small arms hugged Peter’s legs.
“Petey!” She giggles excitedly looking up at him with big curious eyes.

So it all started when Les Corps Beaux RWRB fan on BlueSky asked for a 1-3-word prompt to write a 100/200-word fic about it. I gave 3 words (Elf-panic-snowflake) but somehow, those 3 words wouldn't get out of my mind. I thought I'd write a 100 words thing in return. But anyone who knows me probably already knows that I can't stop at 100 words. After 200 words, I thought I'd go up to 500. Then I gave up and let my thoughts run wild and didn't stop until 1500 words.
