Finally, Bad could go home and just pass out on Dapper's room floor. Gosh how he missed Dapper, and Pomme, and Richas, and every one of those silly little eggs. He missed them all so much, he could feel the tears well up in his eyes once again as he put his hand on the waystone going to his home. The purple particle cloud engulfing him was somewhat comforting as his form dissipated in his spot and rematerialized at his base.
Then his ears were bombarded with Forever's voice, very loud and seemingly coming from all directions. "What the muffin?"

She looked between the pumpkins and the carving instruments before her eyes finally filled with joy. As if she'd developed an idea of what they were doing today, and she was going to enjoy it.
"Papa, are we stabbing the pumpkins?" Tallulah asked, poking the side of the pumpkin with a clawed hand. She seemed very interested in this, and then she tried to bite it with her sharp dragon teeth, and Wilbur had to stop her from biting it with a laugh.
"No, no. Well, kind of. We're gonna carve the pumpkins for Halloween." Wilbur explained, pulling Tallulah's curls back and putting her hair into a ponytail so they wouldn't get any pumpkin sludge on them. He'd invested in very strong ponytail holders because of the sheer amount of hair that his daughter had, and they were useful in situations like these.

The brightest daylilies she can find are for Ramon—he might be less likely to lose them running around if they’re bright red. For Pomme she twists off a single large hydrangea bundle.
Chayanne finds his stick and holds it in front of him, imagining it’s a sword. He makes quiet but dramatic grunts of effort as he jumps and swings it at imaginary enemies and would-be kidnappers. Etoiles has promised to teach him to properly fight soon, and Chayanne pictures driving back villains and criminals with a vicious glee. His raincoat flutters out behind him like a cape in a superhero movie.
Tallulah watches Chayanne for a second, once again thinking about ducklings and stifling giggles, then plucks him a couple yellow daylilies and walks up to offer them.
