Then another dame with a knack for pissing off her coworkers joined me in sexual servitude… then a pretty cupcake and a dapper gentleman showed me what real men are like… then a doll with hazel eyes and a doctor of the dead ate me up… In less than a week, I was drowning in nookie.
I could have stopped at the one dame, but I can’t resist a hot muffin or a silky creampie. My nose is as good at picking up on perfume as it is at sniffing out crime.

Ch.3: Omega Shen Jiu is forced into a marriage with Liu Qingge. Liu Qingge is in love with Shen Yuan. Drama ensues.
Ch.4: Yue Qingyuan finds out that Shen Qingqiu is not Shen Jiu, and demands to be shown where his brother is. Liu Qingge falls in love with someone he can't have.

Summary
Looking good in front of a camera was one thing, but looking happy— well, that took skill. David Matthews was obviously a professional diplomat. Ergo, like recognized like, birds of a feather and all, or so to say, Seishirou knew the power of a well-practiced smile.
Pity about that smile. Seishirou walked past the cordoned-off tape, careful not to disturb the scene. David Matthews was definitely not smiling now.
In fact, it was hard to tell where his face was. David Matthews had been so brutally murdered, that the cleaning maid who had found his body in the morning screamed herself silly and nearly fainted from her own hysterics. Seishirou had no such qualms. Blood, corpses, bodies, none of it bothered him. Still, he was rather glad that he had worn his second-best pair of leather shoes.
July 1999, set after X-12/Ikebukuro. Seishirou and Subaru are tasked to investigate the murder of an American diplomat.
Takes place after Tokyo Interludes but can be read stand-alone.

All is not well, however: the new chief of the enforcers, Gordon Lancer, is left with a heavy burden of finding Zauns holdout villains. He ends up uncovering a cruel takeover plot by a wealthy family and follows the leftovers of a psychopathic murderer. He relies on the aide of a vigilante names Ekko, who lost a sense of place and purpose after the dissolution of the firelights. Ekko finds ways to help his people, but he’s transfixed on an idea he can’t shake- one that haunts his dreams and deflates his heart. This story covers the events of Arcane after season 2, following Ekko and Gordon through a time of reconstruction.
