They both struggle to not interface with each other. They learn more of each other's past and how to move forward. While also learning more about their forms now that they have a cog. Will things go back or can they go forward.

    After Optimus goes missing on a scouting mission near the Decepticon base, Jazz lands on the rescue team and on the battlefield with minimal training.

    The rescue goes predictably awry when Jazz finds himself injured and alone among the Decepticons. Except none of the Decepticons notice that Jazz isn't one of them. Then Jazz finds Optimus, who doesn't seem to realize he's among the enemy and can't even remember his own name. Jazz races to find a way to escape while avoiding Megatron finding out he's there and dealing with his Prime, whose singular memory is that Megatron is his friend.

    Well, Jazz has always been good at improvising.
