Summary

If you’re sure we can’t trust Dumbledore with this, then trust your friends. Trust the people your friends trust. Because if we can’t trust each other, then the Dark Lord’s already won.”
Regulus turned to Rosier who just shook his head. “An underwater cave with a bowl of poison and a nest of Inferi. If the others are half as guarded as that one was, I’m going to tie you up, gag you, and tell them myself.”
The Slytherin Resistance is already hunting horcruxes, AWW.
Excellent points all around! Peter gets a personality and his own skills, Peter & Reg & Lily friendship, the prank goes Less Badly and James grows up as a result (and wolfstar will still happen despite it), Peter being the introduction between Reg and Lily LOL, and then both of them coming around to James (or at least Lily improving her opinion of him) because of his not supporting Sirius uncondintionally after the Prank affair (not all codep fanon generally). AMAZING all around.Desi James, minor polytrio, smart main characters, unexpected animagi, what more could I WANT? (Well, maybe Reg not just a domestic black cat but some giant panther or snow beast to guard and watch along with Lily's bear.)
Why is it that the really great polytrio things - when I can rarely find them - never get continued, though! Like electricManatee and the girldad AU at an end.

It takes a second for him to realize he’s wrong. It’s not Sirius’ voice, familiar as it is.
“No, though I’m not surprised you’d think so. I’m the overlooked sibling.”
The overlooked sibling, as it is, has backed away—James is sure his head was resting on his thighs a second ago. Regulus stands a few feet away now, his posture overly casual. One leg is stretched out gracefully before him while the other curls up to his chest. He’s calculated nonchalance, with an arm draped effortlessly over his raised knee. Playing a great game of pretend. He looks bored, almost. Almost, because there is no mistaking how sharp those gray eyes look, catching and dissecting every movement in the room. Resting on James with something like confusion.

Summary
Honestly, it was an accident. The magical artifact was warded and locked away, but one curious child managed to get to it and found himself thrown into the past.
That's how Draco came to find a tiny blonde boy with emerald eyes staring up at him, the Room of Requirement having shifted into the boy's home. The pictures on the wall and keepsakes on the shelves hint at something Draco isn't quite ready to face.
Draco has a mission to be carried out, but he can't just abandon the boy who clings to him, calling to him softly.
The Vanishing Cabinet can wait.
He somehow has to figure out how to get his future son back to where he belongs.
Oh, and Harry fucking Potter has to get involved, as always.

During your second year you struck up a friendship with Fred and George Weasley after pulling a infamous prank in Professor Snape’s class, that resulted in the Weasley twins taking the blame as no one would have expected you—a studious Ravenclaw—to be the perpetrator. The three of you became joined at the hip, with your romantic feelings for the two growing over the years.
You kept a careful balance between friendship and pining, at least until your sixth year when the balance was broken during the Yule Ball due to an unexpected comment by Percy Weasley. As you were mortified by the interaction—and by the fact that another person was aware of your feelings for Fred and George—you refused to tell the twins about what had transpired.
Fred and George didn’t take kindly to being in the dark about whatever secretive conversation occurred between you Percy and they relentlessly dog you in order to find out. Pranks, chaos, manipulations, and arguments ensue until your friendship is almost at its breaking point. But convenient use of the Room of Requirement solves all the problems.
