Shedletsky could feel his wings flaring up, desperate, an aching need planting itself on his chest. A deep want, a need he needed to fulfill now. His hands moved on their own, his feet keeping up with the rhythm, until he reaches his cabin.
Is it that time of the year? Specifically the time when birds start nesting, he is a hybrid after all, his kind tends to do these more later into the season though, so it's weird. Not like they have a way of knowing what time of the year is around here anyways, but he would estimate it to be too early. Has it really been that long?
Or Shed starts nesting, so he robs the other survivors belongings to complete his nest because they are his flock, they later find out and fluff ensues.
Or or, author doesn't know how to write shedletsky, and has made this fic to get used to writing that name (i swear i keep writing sheddlestky bruh)

He stared for a second, deep in thought. He didn't even know what this was, let alone what it could do. And for it to just claim that it could bring Noli, could bring his kids back. It felt almost fake, like a trap. He didn’t know if it was worth the risk.
…What would be the risk though?
He had nothing to lose, and nobody seemed to like him here. If he were to end up dead, he doubted it would matter in any way. One less mouth to feed. And by Telamon, did he miss his kids.
The figure stared at n7, raising a shadowy, weirdly geometric hand out of the water as if it were to shake 7’s hand.
“ So, what do you say, Seven? “
He stared at the hand.
And shook it without a word.

The way the Survivors treated 007n7 wasn't harsh. It wasn't physical or harmful or violent. They never hurt or yelled at him, never forced him into situations he refused to be in.
Instead, it was silent. They barely acknowledged his presence, and rarely ever gave him the time of day. He was never refused heals or food or assistance, but they never went out of their way to interact with him.
He wasn't treated like the family they called themselves. He was treated as a team member.
He wasn't ignored. Just forgotten.

Elliot had been slowly going insane. He couldn’t even do a generator in peace.He felt the presence of others, however the lack of solitude was unwelcome now. While their usual warm glances had at least some meaning to him, he couldn’t help but despise the feeling of being watched.
Any, any, reminder of what it was doing was something Elliot hated with his whole heart. Anything and anyone related to it was something or someone horrible, someone who only deserved the worst.
The worst, even more horrid than what he was going through. The fact he could never be at ease— was torture no one deserved. Not even 007n7, though he was close to it.
