Because Tim has an old, beat up car stolen from the garage, two backpacks worth of belongings, and a box of cheap face masks, and that is it. He’s left all of his vigilante equipment behind, stored safely in the cave, and he has no intention of going back for it. Going back for any of it really, because Tim loves his family, he really does, but he can’t stand the way they look at him now.
Like he’s something breakable, something they need to wear kid gloves around and treat like glass. Like Tim is another civilian they need to protect.

Summary
When Ra's al Ghul pushed Tim Drake out of a window after he foiled his plots again, he did something and the vigilante disappeared. Six months later, and through a completely unrelated summoning to an alternate dimension's Sun God, Tim reappeared both five years older and part of the crew of the King of Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy.
Now stuck in his home dimension for a month until they can be sent back home, due to bullshit magic reasons, Tim has to face the Batfamily that he had left behind, reckon with a couple of old ghosts, and deal with Bruce Wayne's ever-increasing paranoia in the wake of his disappearance. Luckily, Tim is older, theoretically wiser, and knows that his crew has his back.
(And, in flashbacks, Tim grows into the pirate he is today: the Shadow of the King.)

Summary
Bruce’s ascension into wakefulness is slow - which in itself is strange after being lost in time for six months. Without a partner, his Robin to watch his back he’s learned to go from a light sleep to completely alert and ready to move within a moment.
At the edge of his consciousness, he can hear someone yelling, something pressed against him uncomfortably, something dripping on his arm but it all seems so distant. It feels like he’s enveloped in cotton; preventing him from hearing or feeling anything real. He feels almost removed from reality.
The second thing Bruce notices is a cloying heat that’s spreading just under his skin, throughout his body. It makes his skin tingle, particularly around his lips, the pads of his fingers, the back of his neck and his groin - all erogenous zones.

Summary

At some point during that time, the buzzing of his phone had stopped so he figured that whatever they wanted, they had figured out. He calmed down knowing that while his house might be in chaos by the time he got back, nobody was seriously injured. He should have known though that with all his kids sick that silence on their end was just the calm before the storm. A few minutes into Clark's final point, they all heard the familiar sound of the zeta starting up.
“Nightwing Z-01.”
All the eyes in the room quickly snapped to Bruce, but he found he didn’t care. “Batman care to–” Clark’s demand for an explanation was quickly cut off by a tired and clearly sick young adult that looked exasperated.
“B,” he sighed, seemingly relieved when he saw Batman, “everything is going terribly wrong.”
Everyone glanced over at Batman, half expecting him to send them away and were surprised to see him looking sympathetic. “What’s wrong?” he asked warily.
Before the young adult could answer, seven more kids of varying ages ran in. One with black hair and green eyes spoke up. “What isn’t going wrong?” he asked himself.
