Summary
Every ten years or so a tournament is held between all the five kingdoms. In which one (strongest of the kingdom) sorcerer is chosen as a representative of their king/queen/crown bearer.
The monarchs, however, do not choose the sorcerer for themselves, which Arthur is thankful for, since magic is still banned in Camelot. Instead, they are chosen by the mirror of truth. It shows the face of the strongest sorcerer in said lands, so Arthur can reach out to them.When the mirror finally chooses the participants, Camelot's champion is......... well i mean, who is the strongest magic user in Camelot? Exactly!
It's Morgana.
After all, Merlin was born in Cendred's kingdom.

Summary
Uther finds out about Merlin's magic. Though he is intent on trying to kill Merlin, it never seems to stick, so they agree on a sort of truce in the meanwhile.
Arthur would be completely oblivious to all this going on, except that he accidentally stumbled upon the very first meeting between his father and Merlin, and now he has to deal with the utter chaos they think he doesn't know about.

Tony worries his brain is misfiring, transporting him across time and space in one final insane journey. He swallows hard, and he hears those garbled voices again. Ned looked equally disappointed but dropped it. “Well… it’ll still be fun, right?”

There were many theories about his identity (some more ridiculous than others) but the fact was, none of the SI workers actually knew which one was true. And that’s why they all settled on calling him The Kid.
It’s not like he was really secretive or didn’t talk to anybody. It was quite the opposite actually. He was very talkative and his mouth seemed to never shut up. But he just rarely was in one place long enough to have a longer, meaningful conversation about his identity with anybody. Or he talked so much that nobody had an occasion to ask him any questions.
So he stayed a secret to everyone working in the tower. Until, one day, to everyone’s surprise, he came to SI with a field trip from Midtown High.
