Summary
Knives the Reaper, the Walking Armory, is a man with a $$60,000,000 bounty, fighting to reconcile his resentment towards humanity with the promise he made to spare them. His brother, the Angel of Mercy, seeking in his delusional madness to escort the humanity he loves to Paradise by any means necessary. The brothers once again clash upon this desert planet, and once again the song of humanity sings, though it sings a different tune.

“Vash,” Nai says again, confusion coloring the humor now, overcoming it. “What are you doing?” Repetition. He asks the same questions of Vash over and over without realizing it. Whose side are you on? Are you going to shoot me? Nai takes a step forward.
“I have a proposal,” Vash says, hating the way his voice shakes. The word hits the way he means it to; he watches it shiver up Nai’s spine. He watches Nai’s fingers twitch.
He watches Nai freeze as Vash brings the gun to his own temple.
Vash makes an exchange for peace. As long as Knives doesn't find out he's dying, it might actually work.

A continuation of the Trigun 98 ending. There may be elements or details taken from different iterations of Trigun bc uhhhhh I like,, e.g Knives has a beauty mark.
Another thing to note, this is my first work so I couldn't work out how to tag it as such, but Wolfwood is deceased.
This work is essentially exploring Knives' character and what would've gone on after the events of Trigun, based on the '98 ending. This is a work in progress so hfhfhththt pls bear with me--

After offering him a place to sleep when he had nowhere else to go, the Public Library of May earns a repeat patron from the legendary Vash the Stampede, who’s drawn to the librarian’s open heart and peaceful life. After an idyllic few weeks, Vash’s past catches up with him, as it ever shall; in the crater he leaves behind, the librarian makes a decision that unwittingly lands him in the clutches of his brother, Knives, who’s highly interested in his bond with Vash coupled with his surprising cynicism towards the nature of humanity. Just as Knives aims to use the librarian as an ideological soundboard, a chisel against his brother’s ironclad bleeding heart, the librarian is determined to feel his way through the psychological, philosophical thorntunnel he’s been thrust into.
Something is /very/ wrong with Knives, and the librarian's fatal curiosity leads him deeper.

Summary
Ever since monster-like aliens dubbed as "Plants" invaded Earth, humans have found themselves backed into a corner as the ruthless Plants attack and kill indiscriminately. Forced to live in the middle of the desolate woods in a lonesome cabin with his extended family as they struggle to find food, Vash finds himself struggling more with the unexpected isolation of being away from the city where he grew up, surrounded by the people he loved. Brad and Luida, Vash's guardians, are insistent that Vash never enter the woods alone, for fear of him facing a Plant lurking in the darkness.
Things start looking up for Vash when meets a stranger in the woods named Nai. He knows that if his guardians find out that he snuck out by himself, he'll be as dead as if a Plant found him roaming the forest instead. So he keeps his friendship quiet from them, hoping that straying from their guidance won't turn out too terribly for him.

A tattered Knives finds himself in the care of a human and as time goes on, he has to come to terms with uncomfortable truths about his skewed world view and the strange feelings he discovers blooming in his chest for you.
Contains some Trimax spoilers.
A slight mix of all the Trigun iterations, but mostly Trimax
This is the main series, kept YA level, but this will have future BONUS chapters that are just pwp (irrelevant to the plot)

Sometimes being a plant means doing nuclear fission through reverse photosynthesis.
Sometimes it means tasting colors and reading minds.
Sometimes its about realizing your old flame's son is a journalist now.
Sometimes its about drinking vanilla extract and wanting to claw out of your skin.Vash doesn't have the words exactly for what starts happening to him after Knives played a frequency into his Gun at Jenora's rock. He can feel the math of it, the shape of it, but the words escape him for the next 300k. This Fic is about psychically conjoined twins, nuclear fusion, falling in love with the sun, becoming a salmon and discovering what Ao3 can do with ascii art. It's a Stampede canon divergent fic that crashes off the rails at episode 4 with plant head canons I came up with while watching 98 years ago...and some how I caught a lot of dodge balls. Its also a time loop story that incorporates elements of Trimax and 98, but that's a spoiler for part 2.

Rem wakes in the desert of No Man's Land after the SEEDS crash, miraculously alive and impossibly unhurt. Her only concern? Her boys, nowhere to be found.
An outlaw and drifter calling himself Eriks finds her in the first town she stumbles across, and he's disturbingly reluctant to leave her side. Rem isn't certain if she can trust him, but there's one important caveat - he says he's a Plant Engineer, and if her boys will go anywhere it will be to the call of their sisters.

Milly is eager to try and redeem Knives, get him to confront his past mistakes, but none of that will happen if Knives withers away before he wakes up.
