Summary
“Jaybird!” Dick yells as soon as he pulls the double doors open, and Jason can see the trail of little ducklings behind him.
Duke, Steph, Cass, and Tim are in a neat line behind Dick, and they all look miserable. They’re all wearing pajamas, each with their own tissue box. Damian is standing apart from them with his arms crossed, and Alfred The Cat is perched precariously on his shoulder, but the illusion of an upset healthy prepubescent teenager is very obviously ruined by a very red nose, and the pale pallor of his normally deep tan.
Dick is the only one who doesn’t look miserable, and Jason laments his own health and simultaneously curses Dick’s extremely abysmal culinary abilities and prowess.
Jason has no words. He wants to step back, away from the sick children. He wants to go back to his germ-free apartment and watch the newest episode of Great British Bake Off with Roy.
He takes a step back.

Or, wherein Tim got his spleen taken by Ra's like in canon but little does everyone know that Jason had sold his spleen when he was a kid to try and get Catherine into rehab (and she still died of a drug overdose.)

Three years later, with all his escape attempts frustrated and his future looking bleak, Jason is hand-picked for a suicide mission into Cadmus. Jason could maybe figure out a way out if it were just him. Maybe. But now Batman is shot and cuffed in his cell, and things just got much more complicated.
TLDR: Jason Todd is a twelve-year-old criminal genius, which leads to him getting adopted last of the Wayne brood.

Summary
During his second deployment Eddie met a young Evan near the army base in Afghanistan. He and Evan grew close during his SEAL unit’s month-long stay at the base. When their relationship finally reaches an explosive conclusion and they are nearly ready to admit their love for one another, Evan abruptly leaves.
During the years they spent apart, they have not been able to forget each other.
Eddie is honourably discharged from the military and joins the Los Angeles Fire Department after moving to LA with his son and now ex-wife. Here he begins a journey of healing and moving past what he lost in Afghanistan.
Then Bobby (Eddie’s captain at firehouse 118) announces a new recruit, who is an ex-navy, will be joining the 118 team soon. When that new recruit is a familiar blonde, one Eddie had not seen in 3 years, the tables turn on Eddie’s healing journey. Every baby is born with two shining blue soulmarks of their parents as soon as they’re born. Jason was born with one, from Catherine. He doesn’t even know where Willis was when he was born but either way, he did not have his father’s identifier mark and Willis did not have his. His father left other marks on his skin that weren’t so pretty.

Roy looks at his arms, trying to focus on something other than the pain. Track marks and cracked skin obscure the sleek arrowhead soulmark that represents Oliver fucking Queen. Some blue soulmate he turned out to be.

Jason scoffed into the utter quiet of the Tower. “You’d think Bruce would’ve thought better of recruiting a weak-ass Robin like you, considering the last one kicked it.”
Robin’s head twitched at that, moving slowly to face Jason once again. Jason slammed his hand down on his cheek, holding him down, and Robin couldn’t muster the strength to fight back.
Still, Jason heard him mumble, “Don’t…” The rest was unintelligible.
“Speak up, Timothy.”
Tim glared straight at him and spat, “Don’t you dare talk about my dead girlfriend like that.”
The short burst of strength failed him, and Jason felt Timothy Drake’s hands slip down his arm and fall at his sides, consciousness fleeing.
Static filled Jason’s mind, and a dull ringing echoed in his ears.
He felt his muscles clench. Of course his schemes would be overturned and ruined on the first step. Damn Timothy Drake. Damn Bruce and his penchant for drawing children into his crusade of vengeance. There’s another.
