This research paper seeks to discover how to raise an emanator of Nous, given the resources to do so. With a seed in the form of a genius that hails from a dead and wartorn world, satisfying his desires would enable him to naturally create and earn the gaze of Nous. The result is commendable.

That was what was predicted, and hypothesised to take place.

The false sky hid more from them than he had ever considered, as beings from beyond cast their gaze upon them, and ravaged their world. That which called themselves the Interastral Peace Corporation descended to subjugate and colonise the world into a source of energy. Negotiations had fallen through, and soon Teyvat became a wasteland.

“Is that Stelle?” Aventurine’s voice sounds out, bleary and slightly distant — then there’s rustling, a thump, an indignant hey! in what sounds suspiciously like Topaz’s voice, before Aventurine is speaking again, likely holding the phone from how much clearer he sounds.
“Steeellllleee,” he drags the word out as it tumbles into a long, slurring laugh. Somewhere nearby, Ratio groans. “How’s it going, sweetheart?”
(Stelle is given the task of lugging a not-very-sober businessman back home. At least he's cooperative about it.)
