"It wasn't the torture," He said, glaring at Dazai, his voice raspy—more so than usual—from disuse. He hadn't spoken since they took Verlaine into custody.
Dazai examined his nails with disinterest. "Oh, right. You were attached to that little group of friends?" He looked up at Chuuya, his uncovered eye not showing the slightest trace of emotion. "You guys had some dumb name, didn't you? What is with you and groups with dumb names? First, the sheep, now the flags. Really, it's embar—"
Chuuya flung himself from the bed, landing on Dazai as he punched him. "Shut. Up," He hissed.

"It's who you're trending with..." She trailed off. That was odd. Tomoe was usually very straightforward. Too straightforward at times, maybe, but Chuuya liked her. Chuuya lifted his head so he was actually looking at her, prompting her to continue. "It's Dazai Osamu."

Logan's eyes met with those of a man on the other side of the room. His eyes seemed to flash purple from the dancing lights around them. He was breathtaking.

The man laughed. Virgil's heart stopped. How someone this perfect could exist was beyond him. "Very funny, Virgil. I'm glad you're doing well enough to crack jokes."
"I've never been more serious about anything in my entire life." Virgil stared, getting lost in his deep brown eyes. He wasn't sure if he'd ever find his way out. He was less sure if he even wanted to try. "I know we just met, but we could make it work."
