Summary
After escaping a harrowing encounter with a monster he didn't expect to face, Sharpness tries to drag himself back to civilisation for treatment. Unfortunately, his bad luck doesn't end there: he's ambushed by Jude, of all people (of all vampires, really), and it isn't long before fangs are tearing into his neck.
In his weakened state, he expects to die. After all, what monster wouldn't take the opportunity to be rid of one of the best monster hunters around?
What he doesn't expect is to wake up, his wounds patched up, with the aforementioned monster sitting by his bedside.

Wemmbu raised an eyebrow, eyeing Flame's pitch black locs. "Well, your hair isn't exactly white." If anything, his hair was darker than it had been before the mafia, not lighter.
"Bro. Hair dye." Flame replied quickly, then looked away.
"Oh." Wemmbu almost didn't continue the conversation after that, but then got curious. "Why do you dye your hair?"

His head slumped even further before hitting the ground, sand flying pathetically low at the arrival of their new neighbour. Everything was starting to blur into a fog-like, muddled up piece of watercolour art, which didn’t make sense to Flame as he was still convinced that they couldn’t have done that much to him. But at the realisation he was currently vulnerable, a sense of dread and panic settled into his chest. He tried to get up, but it felt as if his efforts were drastically useless — his attempts at getting up felt closer to just bringing up an arm or two before they fell limp.
