It’s been six years since the zombie apocalypse began and Merlin’s long since lost all hope of ever seeing his king return, only doing what he can to help the little gang of survivors he found survive. He’s just fine living like that.
Until one day, while he and a few of the survivors spot a peculiar looking zombie while looking for supplies.

Detective Arthur Pendragon doesn’t believe in ghosts – until one starts following him home. A routine investigation at a druid burial site leaves him accidentally engaged to Merlin, a very annoyed, very dead activist with unfinished business. Now, Arthur has two choices: ignore the bond and ensuing bad luck, or get very comfortable being haunted by his sarcastic, spectral fiancé.
(Murder investigations. Unwanted soul bonds. Questionable supernatural bureaucracy. Arthur’s having a terrible few weeks and Merlin is loving it.)

Summary
Arthur wakes up in modern Glastonbury and to his unfathomable relief finds Merlin. But nothing is simple. Everything he knew is gone, for one. He wonders what of his achievements were actually his own, and not just Merlin's magic, for another. Arthur also has to face the fact that he kept the ban on magic going. Was he ever truly a good king?
There is also the “I love you” he mouthed to Merlin before dying. Something he cannot afford to focus on, because, as Merlin tells him, Albion’s time of greatest need is upon them.
Then comes the unthinkable. Merlin’s magic, which has been growing over the last thousand years, is suddenly too strong for the sorcerer's human body to handle. Faced with the prospect of losing Merlin, feelings suddenly come out and Arthur realizes that if he can save the man he loves and the land of Albion, he might be able to forgive himself for his mistakes and everything he is not.
The question is, can he?
Expect fluff, angst, humor, banter, hurt/comfort, whump, and lots of Merthur!

Tired of waiting for Arthur, Merlin decides to travel wide and far through different universes. This endangers the stability of the Multiverse, and for that reason Arthur is sent in a travel across the multiverse.
Will Arthur be able to find Merlin and bring him back to their original universe or they will be separated by the immensity of the multiverse?
Illustrated and written in 24 hours for the Tournament of Champions for the Merlin Fic Book Club server on Discord.
Prompts used: parallel/multiple universes (and maybe used the Setting: somewhere outside Europe and Vampires too).

When Merlin ultimately fails in his destiny, the fading remnants of magic that linger in the modern world fling him not just back in time, but sideways as well. He ends up in a Camelot where all his friends are alive, well and aware of his magic.
He ends up in a Camelot where his alternate self died almost a year ago.
Can he, Arthur and their friends still forge the golden age he was once promised, or will grief and suspicion tear them apart?

In his paranoia after Morgana’s betrayal, Uther is convinced the outer kingdoms are falling into magical ways again. Arthur is sent with his knights to the far kingdom of Deira, to check if their alliance with Camelot is still in place. During the trip there, Arthur learns that Merlin is keeping very important things from him.
But Deira has been cursed with something so terrible that only the Once and Future King can lift it. Arthur wishes to help. Things get even more complicated when Merlin saves Arthur and King Yffi from a falling tower that might have killed not just them, but a lot of children. Not his good intentions, nor the fact that he’s Arthur’s manservant, will save him from the pyre.
