Summary
Sam is dead.
Quackity and Dream don't know how, but that doesn't matter. The only thing that matters, is that they're suck in the cell together.

Quackity straightens up from where he’s been kneeling over Dream.
He’s gone limp after the last blow to the head. But there’s no cause for concern yet.
Quackity already checked for breathing, as per Sam’s instructions, and it’s there—shallow and uneven but present as always.
He’s unsure if Dream could even die at this point.
Usually, Quackity would’ve tried to wake him. But tonight, he doesn’t bother. His arms ache, and his hands are sore from gripping the handle of the, now bloodied, axe. The entire session he’d been waiting for that adrenaline and elation to hit him, but nothing came. Now, all he feels is a dull pain behind his eyes.
He sets the axe down carefully and rolls his shoulders, then bends down to stretch his knees. The obsidian is unforgiving and Quackity grimaces as he feels his calves tighten.
It’s already been such a long goddamn week.

Summary
If someone had broken Techno’s window, he might’ve forgiven them, provided they had a good reason.
If someone had hijacked his house, he probably would’ve stabbed them.
If that same somebody had decided that his mattress was going to become their deathbed, sure, why not? Who was he, in the infinite whims of the universe, to stop them from bleeding out all over his floorboards?
…but of all the ungodly hours, why did it have to be 2am?
or; dream breaks into techno’s house and now techno has to deal with an emotionally unstable injured necromancer with a little too many people out hunting for his head

“Techno asked me to make sure you didn’t run off or get killed while he hibernated,” Phil said lightly, tossing another log into the fire. “So, here we are.”
Dream exhaled. He was braced against the doorway, and even from several paces away Phil could see him shaking. “Why do you care?”
“I don’t,” Phil said, pulling himself upright again and refolding his wings behind him. “Let’s make that very, very clear: I do not care about you. But I do care about Techno, and he wanted me to make sure you’d still be here when he woke up. So — did you eat something today?”

Dream needed help, he knew that. He knew what was coming for him if he didn't get aid but the only ally he had left wasn't opening his door. So Dream got loud. And that got him in trouble.

“He stopped bleeding a while ago, Sam. Potions won’t help. You’re just forcing the flesh to close over broken bones.” Phil inched closer, wrapping his hands around the cold iron bars. “Do you have gauze on you?”
Sam was staring at Dream’s face.
“Sam. He’ll die. Do you have gauze?”
(scrapped lore, but sam and quackity miscalculated. dream took the bait before sam could prepare pandora for his arrival, and he showed up with philza and technoblade as back-up. now sam has dream and philza in a shoddily constructed cell, with technoblade at large.)

Bad knew conditions in the prison were declining, but he didn’t know the full extent. Not until Techno brought Dream to his doorstep, starving and scarred and shivering, and left him in his care. It’s his task to reverse all the damage he was once complicit in. It’s his penance to pay.

“I- I kinda had a whole plan and…well this is not it.”
George giggled. He suddenly wasn’t so impatient. It made sense, he had imagined it too. Well, only parts of it. He would arrive at the airport, Sapnap would pick him up in his dumb car he always sent messages about. They would drive to their house, and Dream would make them steaks. It would be perfect.This, staring at a ramshackle door in a freaky little cabin in god-knows-where after waking up in their character’s screwed up bodies, is not perfect.

Summary
Punz heals Dream after being injured in a fight with Sapnap.
This takes place after this lore (it’s not necessarily lore but I’m going to take it as such) linked here if you want to watch it, but basically Sapnap and George go after Aimsey, and Dream and Foolish try and defend/avenge her.
“I’m fine.” Dream says before Punz even gets out a word and it sounds so real despite the blatant physical evidence saying otherwise …
“You’re fine?—you’re fine?! You don’t look fucking fine, Dream. Nothing about you looks fucking fine. You look like you could keel over at any moment—what do you mean you’re fucking fine? Like shit—if this is your fucking definition of fine what the hell is yours for bad?!—” Punz spits back edging on hysterical.
Dream doesn’t answer, only cringes at the words and Punz immediately realizes he fucked up. They both know what his definition of bad is.

Summary
“They’re not paying me anything.”
Punz almost never did anything without the promise of monetary rewards.
“Money is irrelevant right now. I’m not being rewarded or penalized regardless of what happens.” Punz’s voice was collected, and cold in the emotionless drawl Dream had long gotten used to. The mercenary wasn’t someone to wear his heart on his sleeves, and even at the height of their partnership, Dream had rarely known what the other was thinking.
The crease of his brow was wrinkled slightly, but there was almost nothing readable. An impenetrable wall that Dream himself could not crack. That he couldn’t read. Dream had never been able to hold the same emotionless resolve, he’d needed a physical mask for that.
Maybe Punz had always been colder than him.
Maybe the mercenary had achieved what Dream had long since failed to. No attachments, no cares. Nothing.
Or, the au where Punz genuinely betrayed Dream in the attachment room and they're both left to pick up the pieces of Pandora's Vault.

Summary
Punz has waited so long for this moment. So long for this sound. It had to have been at least a year, a year of waiting for that awful, ear piercing, siren. But it was like music to him. Dream was out, after so long, his partner was out. And maybe it didn't really go to plan.
OR
Dream escapes prison, but he's in horrible shape and previous plans seemed to crumble. He can barely hold a sword, his clothes are trashed, and he's covered in wounds. But Punz takes care of him, cleaning his wounds and tidying him up. Everything would be okay.

Summary
Techno's house is haunted and the ghost is quite the menace (a torture box tends to do that).
Or: Techno gets a new ghosty roomie and he's not mad about it. Though the same can't be said for his visitors.
Or: Sapnap kills Dream and because of the Death Book and Revive Book things get complicated, resulting in a ghost giving some smp members a good scare.
Dream’s eyes open again and he glares up at him, “Techno?”
“Yeah?” Techno offers, studying his shiny jade eyes and trying to ignore how limp the body in his arms is. How icy his skin feels. How faint his heart beat is. How every breath and word seems to be an arduous task.
“‘I h’v’ a h’use.”
A laugh rips out of Techno’s throat, “Oh yeah, then why did you come to my house?”

Foolish decides to visit prison... he does not like what he finds.
Las Nevadas is a country funded by foolishness and substance abuse, settled into the sand of the fakest desert money can buy. So, mirages and hallucinations aren’t the most unheard of things to happen, especially after working in the sun all day on the newest flashy building of the skyline.
And yet, when Foolish sees the strange sight of Quackity strolling down the road with a netherite shovel over his shoulder, he knows it’s not an illusion. As bizarre as it is, he knows it’s real, for that he is certain, but that doesn’t answer the question of why Quackity is cheerily carrying a netherite shovel.

Hands grabbed him, keeping him pressed to the ground. For a moment, Dream panicked and fought against them, before realizing where he was and going limp. Fighting wouldn’t get him anywhere if it was one of the hunters. He couldn’t win, not unarmored and practically unarmed. They were just going to kill him if he was lucky (
and drag him back to the prison if he wasn’t), and Punz would probably still revive him (if they were still loyal, if someone hadn’t paid them more, if the promise of power was still enough to keep them by his side), but that would just put them in danger and they’d need to get his body in the first place, which would probably attract someone’s attention and they couldn’t afford that–But it wasn't one of the hunters. It was Niki. Niki, who Dream hadn’t seen for pushing-on two years, and barely spoke to before that. Niki, who everyone loved. Dream had no idea why she was here in the first place, why she wasn’t happily away at home or searching for him with the rest of the crowd. (
Dream didn’t know what she wanted from him, and that was dangerous)OR
