The man let his pen drop from his hands. The tip scratching on the thin piece of paper, a thin ink line going across some of his equations before settling, rolling, and dropping onto the tile floor of his lab.
He merely blinked, too tired to care, yet so emotional that- it was suddenly the only thing he could think about.
‘I dropped the pen, I should pick it up...’

Peter gasped as his head was pushed over the waves. The water was murky brown, making it impossible for him to see. He let out sharp cries as rocks and sharp debris started to cut him from below. He looked around wildly before he forced himself to push against the waves, latching onto a broken palm tree.
"H-Hel-lp!" His voice shook, his voice filled with agony and fear.
He just wanted a normal trip for once, a normal vacation. Yet, he now wished he begged to Mr. Stark, begged to stay home.
He just wished he could have sensed the tsunami sooner....

Summary
A collection of insights starting after the events of Homecoming, mostly from Tony's perspective. The relationship that Tony and Peter had built by the time Infinity War happened (or not - I'm not a big fan) wasn't built on any big world-ending events, but on countless lab sessions, movie nights, smaller emergencies, and conversations. All of these combined to form a bond between them just as strong as blood ties, and just as unbreakable. I feel like we missed out on all that on-screen, so I can never read enough stories that would maybe cover that period.
