Summary
With the Calamity imminent and looming on the horizon, the provinces of Hyrule are working together to prepare for what could potentially be the apocalypse. While the Sheikah have begun unearthing their ancient machines and choosing their Champions, there are also efforts into researching the mysterious Zonai people. Their ruins may hold the key for safeguarding the world.
An expedition into the heart of Faron reveals that not only are there many more Zonai ruins than expected, but these "ruins" are still occupied. The world is thrown into disarray, and now Hyrule has to get used to the presence of a new (but old) group who seem to know more than they are letting on.or:

This is a rewrite of As Lovely As The Stars. I warn you now, this fanfiction contains a large amount of spoilers for Age of Imprisonment. Seriously, they start in chapter one. Don’t read if you don’t want spoilers.

There are two new dragons when Link wakes up after the Upheaval.
There’s the Light Dragon, strange and beautiful, but also its baby, clumsy and pretty and barely bigger than Link, and the mystery of the two of them seems to give him more questions than answers. Where did they come from? Have they been up here this whole time? Since when could dragons have offspring?
Not to mention, what happened to Zelda? Why does she seem so distressed in the memories he finds? And are she and the dragons connected by more than just tears?
Link tries to find answers.

Summary
Gannon died, but the monsters he summoned didn’t die with him, and a gold-manned lynel decided that he would like to rule over the Sacred Land, gathering an army of monsters and Gannon cultists to his banner. After the devastation of the Calamity and the Upheaval, the remnants of Hyrule were – despite Link’s best efforts – not able to survive this new threat, and the last embers of the Queendom of Hylia were snuffed out.
In a timeline not yet doomed, King Rhoam decides to take the Royal family to the Temple of Time to pray to Hylia for guidance. He wasn’t expecting Her to respond, much less send a Hero.
Link, still adjusting to a body that isn’t ruined by guardian blasts and Malice submersion, is determined that this time, Hyrule will stand.

Zelda nodded along with Link’s words. “You’re right. We’ll need to secure the champions and their Divine Beasts. But the guardians… they will need to be dismantled. They hold a greater threat than the beasts. And… there’s the matter of getting my past self to unlock her sacred power.”
“And you unlocked yours when…”
“When I acted in love for you,” she finished, meeting his gaze. “We need to get our past selves to realize their feelings.”
“You’re saying we need to play matchmaker.”
“Yes.”
“For our past selves.”
“Yes.”
He dragged a hand down his face. “We’re doomed.”

Or: Post-ToTK Link and Zelda, happily married, are investigating a series of disappearances when they’re suddenly sent to before the Calamity. They take it upon themselves to save everyone from impending doom, which includes helping their past selves get along. It’s a lot easier said than done. Oh, and more people are disappearing.
