Near almost jumps out of his damn skin as his head instinctively pivots to the source of the voice.
And before him is an angel, or a miraculous ghost, or a terrible mirage. Leather on leather covering pale skin, silver painted lips, wide and intense eyes, icy blond hair, and the distinct crack of the chocolate bar as his leather covered hands bring it to his mouth.
