Summary
Fresh out of Arkham and done waiting for apologies that never come, Jason Todd leaves Gotham behind with nothing but a duffel bag and his motorcycle. He heads west—no destination, no plan—just the promise of silence and the hope that maybe, somewhere, he'll remember how to breathe again.
In Star City, he finds a small apartment and a fragile kind of peace. His neighbor is Roy Harper: single dad, hero, too charming for his own good. Roy doesn’t recognise him—doesn’t know Red Hood, doesn’t know Jason’s alive—and Jason isn’t ready to tell him.
But the road doesn’t end in Star City. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting, and love doesn’t erase the past. Jason still carries Gotham in his scars, and his name in someone else’s voice. Yet in quiet moments—over breakfast with Lian, in the hush between Roy’s laughter and his own—Jason starts to believe in something like home. Not the one he left behind, but the one he’s building now, one breath, one brick, one heartbeat at a time.
Because maybe Ithaca was never a city. Maybe it was a person. Maybe it was him, learning to stay.

Summary
Flying back to Cherry Street, weaving reckless in the dark, it comes down to this: Dick is the only one of his siblings that Jason has any real claim on. Dick is the only one of that whole mess of victims to Batman's cult of self-immolation who belongs to Jason. Even more than that - Dick is the only person in the world who he shares a parent with, who knows what it meant to be the Robin to Batman of nearly ten years ago.
It's just not the same anymore.
So if Dick fucking kicks it, Jason's the only one left. Jason becomes an only child. Jason becomes the last of his kind. Jason becomes the sole keeper of that memory, of a brotherhood shared under a man who no longer exists. There is no way to replace Dick, because the world that they lived in together is gone, and can never give Jason a surrogate.
The Red Hood pulls the thread on a mystery big enough to bridge the distance between two cities, two brothers: The plot they unravel is far deeper and darker than a garden-variety drug trafficking scheme. A story about siblingship, hauntings, and rivers.

Summary
An ~UtRH AU that follows the events of A Death in the Family and diverges from canon at some point during Lost Days (pre that scene, which is most definitely not a part of this AU). Survival Instincts starts out after Jason has been in Gotham for several months. His plans to establish himself in the Gotham underworld have run into some snags and his motivations are in flux.

Summary
Red Hood was only active for a handful of months when Joker was killed. The unnatural rage that had burned within him smothered considerably, causing his plans of revenge on the Bats to come to a screeching halt. This leaves his family still unaware of his living status.
With the thought of returning to his family seeming laughably impossible, Jason resigns himself to existing solely as Red Hood. It was fine. It would be easier if he stopped trying to form new bonds with his old family as Hood. It would be a hell of a lot easier if he wasn’t trying to parent an estranged Robin.
Like Jason said, it was fine.
He’ll figure it out.
Or: Jason slowly realizes that he missed being part of a family. He does something about it. Kind of.

The shock burns away immediately; the ashes condense into a murky, muted sort of rage.
He stays still for a long moment, then pulls himself up against the wall. “Okay,” he says monotonously, taking a step toward the kid, and the kid- flinches. He flinches.
Jason reels back, not speaking yet, not trusting himself not to yell. And when he does speak, he says:

Summary
The Bats were dead and Dick was the only one left alive. He had nothing left for him so why shouldn’t he join them?
Waking up back in time was not the plan but Dick wasn’t complaining. He finally has his family back and he will not lose them again.
Robin has always been able to do what Batman couldn’t. It was okay that Bruce won’t kill. Dick wouldn’t ask him to compromise his morals.
But he had no such restrictions. He doesn’t mind killing, getting his hands dirty, and being a monster if it means his family is alive.

Or a Dark Dick Grayson who is just a tad overprotective of his family. Just a tad.

Summary
Jason's daemon scoffs at him, tail swishing back and forth as she trots over to Tim.
"Don't." Jason warns.
She ignores him, of course, and brushes against Tim's leg like a cat. It sends a sharp spike of something through him, and he wavers and shakes his head. His daemon grins, wolfish.
Tim just looks confused.
Jason didn't know that he had no choice in the matter of 'wearing his heart on his sleeve'. Actually, he'd rather have that than his actual soul.

Summary
A blind man and a mute man meet in a church. Somehow, they make the friendship work.
Jason's ultimatum ends in the way he least expected it: with a batarang to the neck courtesy of Batman, and his murderer laughing as he bled out. Even though he survived, the damage was done. Mute, he decided to take his leave and wound up in Hell's Kitchen, New York.
Enter Matt Murdock; blind lawyer by day and the vigilante known as Daredevil by night. Some would say his desire to help others would be what would get him killed one day, and his track record did back up that sentiment. However, that doesn't stop him from befriending a broken but kindred spirit.

So when he takes out a two-bit villain wannabe and winds up crossing paths with a purple-clad teen vigilante, he can’t let her get in the way of his plans — no matter how many personal feelings he might have about kids in capes.
But that’s the thing about family: it has a way of finding you in the last place you expect it.
