Summary
A longfic about a year in the making written by Kumquatmai and Knightyan. A few years into the successful exchange program, a young witch called Kumquat applies for consideration to attend RAD. She knows about the Demon Brothers and Diavolo from the history lessons in her coven, of course, but nothing prepares her for living with them; especially her encounters with a certain Avatar of Pride. We hope you enjoy Kumquat's adventures in Devildom, and the many twists and turns along the way.
Note that many of the tags will appear in subsequent chapters. It's a bit of a slow burn, and we aren't quite at the romance yet. We update 2-3 times a week, so bookmark and stay tuned!
Kumquat will often quote lines from the stanzas of a Shakespeare play where we drew the title. You can see the excerpt below. We think it sums up how many of us feel at the prospect of a romantic relationship with our beloved Morningstar.

Solomon had recognized the handwriting immediately and set about unlocking the secrets to his present. Days spent observing and experimenting had yielded very interesting results and possibilities. After pondering the message, he had indeed known what he wanted to do with the delightful gift.
OR: Solomon receives an intriguing birthday present from Barbatos and uses it to contrive some alone time for them by creating a snow day in the Devildom, along with discovering other, very satisfying uses for his gift.

Some backstory revealed, including Lucifer's first few centuries in the Devildom, Lucifer's reticent nature in public, and why Mephisto loathes Lucifer. Some references to the “A Night to Remember” card and Lesson 32.
If you have read my story "Every Second," then several scenes from this will overlap, as "Every Second" was heavily based on this story in terms of Soft Lucifer. The context of this story and the AU are entirely different, however.

Your fingers hook into the top of the gloves, enough to slide them inside to stroke at the hidden skin.
