Summary
Nearly eleven years since the death of Lord Voldemort, all is truly well in the life of Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived: a fulfilling job, a safe home, supportive friends, and most importantly, his loving husband, Draco Malfoy. However, a certain invitation in the mail unexpectedly brings with it reminders of a time when things had been far less perfect. Dudley Dursley is getting married. While Harry has developed an amicable relationship with his cousin, he hasn't seen his aunt and uncle since he watched them leave Privet Drive shortly before he turned seventeen.
After a bit of coaxing Draco convinces Harry to attend. Whether the day will be one of love and forgiveness or love and revenge will depend entirely Vernon and Petunia's behaviour…and a bit on Draco's mood. But love will definitely be involved somewhere. It is a wedding after all.

Footsteps approached, and Dudley held his breath, unsure what to say given that he hadn’t seen Harry for so many years. Not to mention their rocky friendship in childhood - if you could even call it that.
He was saved from any sort of planned response, however, when someone opened the door.
It was not Harry.
“Oh, hello?” said an attractive, blonde man.
He was tall, perhaps even taller than Dudley, and had a cold, pointed sort of face.
“Erm - does Harry live here? Harry Potter?”
He briefly wondered if Harry had given him the wrong address as some sort of joke, when the blonde man kept talking.
“Oh, yes, he’s at work now though. Who are you? Harry didn’t tell me you were coming over.”
After being kicked out by his girlfriend, Dudley has nowhere to go.
He quickly remembers that his cousin Harry still lives in London, and if he can find his address, he’s sure Harry wouldn’t mind hosting him for a week or two.
He wasn’t, however, expecting to encounter Harry’s boyfriend.

Umbridge’s detentions were torture, literally, but Harry didn’t want to bother his dad with it, especially considering the stress he was under with the High Inquisitor’s inspections. Not even Draco knew, and he and Harry had been dating since third year, which only added to Harry’s guilt.
He was doing well at hiding it until one of the bi-weekly dinners with his dad, where Severus noticed the strange wound on his hand.

Merlin has magic,” Uther’s words hit Merlin like a ton of bricks, the spirit disappearing as if it was never there.
Merlin closes his eyes, letting out the breath he’s been holding. He feels his back hit the door behind him, holding himself up against it. He doesn’t look at Arthur, just waits.
One breath, two breath, three breath. Nothing.
Merlin opens his eyes, looking up, half expecting Arthur to have disappeared to alert the guards. Arthur is staring at him, he is stock skill, breath coming out ragged and uneven. He looks crushed and not just from expelling his father’s spirit but that must also have contributed to it.
“Arthur,” Merlin tries, swallowing when his voice shakes with the anticipation of Arthur’s reaction.
“Is it true?” Arthur asks, his voice quiet but stern, he still holds the horn tightly in his grip by his side, his knuckles white with the force.
“Arthur I-“
“Yes or no, Merlin,” Arthur interrupts, voice suddenly louder in the empty corridor, he looks Merlin in the eye while he nods wordlessly before looking away, “you-you do. You would betray me? You?”

Summary
Merlin really didn’t understand why Arthur kept assigning him more guards. He was Camelot’s Court Sorcerer and, oh you know, the strongest warlock to ever live. He really didn’t need the protection, but his stupid overly protective husband just refused to see reason. Though maybe all the trouble Merlin got into every time he left the castle wasn’t helping his argument.
Or the 5 times Arthur adds a new guard to Merlin’s protection detail and the 1 time Merlin does something about it!

He’s had all of these reactions to them only, not to you or me, but we weren’t there with them. He only reacted to me when I grabbed him. Something happened. Someone touched him or burned him or hurt him in some way, and I have a feeling that it has something to do with them.” The last word came out with venom.
