Merlin is tired. Tired of waiting. With every day that passed, his shoulders seemed to slump more and more, and exhaustion sunk into his bones. And still he waited for the day Arthur would return.
Merlin doesn't even know if he cares anymore. It's been too long. And it seems like the end is coming soon anyways, whether he wants it too or not. The once steady balance of magic is becoming precarious, and Merlin doesn't know if he can fix it. He doesn't even know if he should bother trying.

Summary
There have been a lot of changes in Merlin's life of late. Camelot is so different to Ealdor and he's never served anyone before.
However, after a few months, Merlin finally feels like he might be getting the hang of things.
He and Arthur have fallen into an easy routine that they both enjoy. There hasn't been much trouble in the kingdom for a while.
Merlin's favourite is their evening routine (though getting to wake up Arthur in a variety of ways is a very close second).

Summary

Merlin has waited for three long years for this exact opportunity. During a battle against the near-mythical Barbarian King Arthur, Cenred has Merlin's manacles removed so he can fight. With only two guards watching him, it is easy for Merlin to make his escape. He doesn't make it far, and instead ends up being dragged before Arthur himself.

Summary
In the year 3013, Camelot is under the strict rule of Uther and his police force of Protectors. The dystopian city is overpopulated and struggling with massive crimes despite (or possibly because of) police brutality. A gang of anarchists called the Knights certainly aren't helping things either, so Uther dispatches his only son Arthur to go undercover and take them down from the inside. However, the Knights teach Arthur the meaning of family, and with their guidance he sees Uther for what he really is: a tyrant. Oh, and he also falls in love with the dope-smoking, free-running scout named Merlin.
