Harry glares. He opens his mouth, and feels the beginning the snake’s language pass his lips, and this isn’t what he wants, what’s the point of insulting Malfoy if he can’t understand him –
Malfoy’s eyes widen. He slaps his hand over Harry’s mouth, “Potter, what the hell–”

All Might never dropped the slime villain. Midoriya never got One For All. Hopelessness burns admiration into resentment. Saved from his own self-disgust of being quirkless by a soon-to-be half fire/half ice hero, a new obsession arises. And Shigaraki is more than happy to take in an upcoming villain with hatred that mirrors his own. He’ll even help get anything and anyone he wants.
But what happens when a villain gets a soft spot? Can villains even have those? It’s a little weird but they figure it out. And it gets even weirder when Todoroki family drama is involved. And a dog apparently. Maybe the bad guys are just little broken and fate has cursed them to be that way. Or maybe someone’s been pulling the strings since the day All Might turned his back on Midoriya on that rooftop.

(This fic is a product of literal years of work, and it shows - because each chapter is better written than the one before it. I was basically a fetus when I wrote the beginning of this story, so the first two chapters are NOT on par with the rest, and chapter 3 is iffy. I'm currently working on notes and plans for revamping the first few chapters, so you'll see changes at some point, but until then: Please read past the first couple chapters - you won't be sorry.)

Sequel to Twisted Minds!
Harley has willingly gone back to Amanda Waller and Task Force X. After loosing something she didn't think she could have, she decides she needs to do some good to bring karma back her way. Joker meanwhile snaps, completely unhinged, he turns Gotham into a war zone. He blames Batman for Harley leaving, deciding that if the Dark Knight is going to take everything from him then it's only fair to return the favor. Meanwhile there's a new replacement in the squad, someone with a history with the Joker and is determined to end the Clown Prince of Crime once and for all. With Batman away, fighting with the Justice League, Amanda Waller decides to step in, excited with the prospect of having him owe her a favor. Harley and the Squad are sent to stop Joker from destroying Gotham once and for all, but can she stop her new team member from killing the only man she's ever loved, save Gotham and keep her head intact?
