Too many responses to count flashed through Tommy’s mind. This man was going to kill him, there was no denying that. No denying that Tommy had been stupid. That mantra had gotten him through the night, sure, but it wasn’t true, and now he was going to die.
In the forest, he didn't know what was coming to kill him. Now, though, he knew it would be this man, with his soft cloak and softer eyes, Tommy wasn’t so afraid.
Might as well encourage him to make it quick.
“Because I know where you live, you rebel fuck,” he spat. “I know exactly where we are.”

The guard stared at him for a moment, blue eyes blown wide behind his mask.
It was then the Pythia looked down at the hand outstretched between them. The prosthetic was made of intricately carved metal, covered in vines and flowers twisting together with the shimmer of enchantments reflecting in the purple glow.
And although the guard’s sleeve was covering his wrist, he knew that in the place where metal met flesh, there was a pair of dark angel wings tattooed on his skin.
He was right. This wasn’t a real guard.
This was a Deathling.
or, Wilbur is an oracle known as the Pythia, chosen to receive dreams of the future from the goddess Clara. One day, he receives a dream warning him that during a ball Emperor Schlatt is hosting, the Deathlings—terrorists who worship the goddess of Death—will launch an attack. When his warning goes ignored, he knows there's going to be consequences.
He doesn't expect one of those consequences to include him getting kidnapped by a teenager.

After two months of art lessons, Tommy very much regretted choosing it as a GCSE.
Not because he was bad at it or anything—no he loved drawing—but it was his teachers. It was how his school taught art. Everything about it sucked the creativity out of it. It took away his choice of expression, forced him to write coursework about overrated, dead artists and their dogshit contemporary pieces.
But then he got a new teacher to sub into his Friday lessons.
He didn't think someone whose last name referred to the stuff in chimneys could make him love art again. Yet, Mr Wilbur Soot did.

Usually, Phil would be a lot more picky about who is left, he wanted fun after all but this time he just agreed to take the young brunet under his wing.
He didn’t have much time to prod and enjoy the human this time, since he just had an egg hatch. His little nightmare needed a lot of attention, lots of food and care.

Summary
Tommy was miles from home, bloody and panting, stumbling through the dirty streets as he did his best to cover his tracks. There was no doubt in his mind that Dream would be after him, and this time, he wouldn’t take so long to kill him.
Tommy couldn’t do this anymore. He wished the heroes had killed him the moment they first caught him. Even now, having escaped, he wanted to die. He just didn’t want to be alone as he did it.
But he had nothing and no one. He was alone.
His exhausted mind drifted to the only people he deemed important enough to want to be close to.
He wanted to die. Siren, the Blade, and the Angel of Death wanted to kill him. It was a match made in heaven.
And anyway, what was one more chase?

“Fifteen,” the boy said, jutting out his sharp little chin as if to compensate for the whole head of height he lacked next to the second shortest boy in the row. Technoblade felt a headache prickling at his temples.
“I will ask that again. Think of your answer carefully this time. How old are you?”
The boy looked up. He had eyes the color of sky before dawnbreak, and fire in them that burned more fiercely than a star newly born.
“I'm fifteen, sir,” he repeated without a shade of doubt. “Old enough for war.”

When Commander Technoblade is given a soldier to train who is clearly much too young, he makes everything in his power to make him leave. Unfortunately for him, Tommy is stubborn. Phil has an amusing time watching Technoblade trying not to get attached to the kid (and failing miserably). Somehow it turns into a story of learning to live and letting go.

The bell on the door rang as it was pushed open. It was too early for Technoblade’s next appointment, so— without even glancing up— he said, “No walk-ins.”
The footsteps didn’t stop until they reached the counter. Someone cleared their throat. Technoblade raised his eyes to find a teenager glaring at him over the counter.
“No walk-ins,” Technoblade repeated, bored.
“I’m not here for a tattoo.”
“Well, we don’t do anything else,” Technoblade said dryly. This was the most entertainment he’d gotten all day, save for the long appointment he’d had that morning with Dream, one of his most consistent customers.
“You need help,” the kid said with conviction.
Technoblade arched his brow. “I wasn’t aware of that.”
“Well, you do.”
Technoblade examined him critically. The kid was tall but clearly young— the kind of customer Technoblade would double-check the ID of. “Are you even old enough to be in here?”
The kid ignored the question. “You need help around here. And I need an apprenticeship.”
Or, Technoblade is a tattoo artist and Tommy seeks an apprenticeship. The ink of their lives bleed together in unexpected ways.

“We tried everything we could but Techno you knew he was sick.”
Techno is silent.
“Techno please, work with me here,” Phil pleads. “The kid doesn’t have anywhere else to go right now, it’s only going to be for a few months.”
“And it’s only been a year since Wilbur died,” Techno spat out. “You’re already taking another damn kid into the house.”
“It’s not like that—” Phil is quick to say, but Techno is done listening. He storms his way over to the backdoor, throwing it open even as his father follows.
“Techno wait please don’t—”
His words come too late. Techno isn’t even halfway down the back porch steps before he slips into his fur, hands and feet becoming paws and nimble limbs jumping down the last few steps.
Or, a year after Wilbur's death, Phil takes in a new foster kid. Techno isn't pleased, but slowly it's this golden kid that shows him how to love again. Maybe life is worth living after all.

Nodding in satisfaction, he turned around to meet the eyes of two other prisoners that had been thrown into his cell.
He froze.
Right.
There were now aliens in his cell.
And he probably just scared the hell out of them.
Or: Humans are a dangerous race feared by all on an intergalactic scale. Techno, a human ex-soldier that was abducted by aliens 18 months ago, is biding his time in captivity.
This changes when two young aliens are sent into his cell to die.

The Angel shakes his head. “T- The kid doesn’t know anything,” he says, and it almost sounds like a plea. “I swear.”
“Tommy,” the man prompts again, “Tell me the identities of The Syndicate, then you're free to go."
Tommy freezes.
“I’m sorry?” He sputters.
“He doesn’t know!” Siren shouts.
“Do you seriously expect me to believe that?!"

Summary
Tommy has been an orphan as long as he can remember. The last home he was put in was the worst home he’s been in.
He ran away and skipped town and landed in a bustling city called L’manberg. He didn’t choose this city for no reason.
This is the home of the SBI. The most famous band in the history of ever.
There was only three members: Phil (the drummer), Technoblade (the bassist and back up vocalist), and Wilbur (the lead singer and guitarist).
Their music took the world by storm, and they were loved not only because of their songs, but also their attitude. The SBI became known as a family unit. All three band members joked about how they were family and even that Wilbur and Technoblade were twins. Phil was considered the exasperated father figure that the ‘sons’ always whined to.
It was nice. Tommy wished he had that sometimes. Maybe that’s why they’re his favorite band. He’s a huge fan of them, probably one of the biggest.
or, The SBI are a famous band known for their family dynamic. But they just might not be all they advertised...
If any CCs state they are uncomfortable with this kind of fic, I will take it down!
