When she is twelve years old, Rella Cygnus is given a terrible task--the assassination of the king. The curse she casts doesn't quite kill him, but it lingers and lasts and wears him down. Siffrin has craved blood for as long as they can remember. After so many years of wandering, he's come to Vaugarde in hope of finding answers, just as the King's Curse begins freezing the country in time. He's quickly losing hope, but when they come across a small group determined to save Vaugarde from the King, Siffrin decides to join them. They can't get the answers they want if the country gets frozen in time, after all. They'd never traveled with other people before. Siffrin doesn't expect to grow attached to any of them, but as time goes on, the thought of leaving them hurts more and more. Worse yet, they refuse to even entertain the thought of one of them discovering what he is and what he's done. They just know that if they find out, they'll hate them.

Summary
this started out as slice of life snippets of SEES. it ballooned out to much more than that. I kind of treat these as character and relationship studies! they start out fun and lighthearted, but the Hurt Stick swooped in and i had no control over it and halfway through i realized i'm actually an angst writer OOPSIE
these take place in-between major game events starting in September. 'pretty boy' has a minor canon divergence, but things only really start diverging majorly from canon in 'i caught fire.' after that it sort of spirals into its own thing, lol.
i hope you enjoy SEES being messy teenagers! and, uh, let's say their journey to earning the happy ending (because they DO ALL GET ONE I PROMISE)
The mainline series is done! I'll still be publishing b-sides as the mood strikes, though :]

Siffrin when they were in danger or perceived danger they used to grow taller or be faster than he usually was.
It was no big deal only a couple of inches just slightly longer legs to be faster stronger than they usually are.
Siffrin has a small thought in the back of their head that people used to do it all the time, a familiar feeling that never left them when he shifted that they used to see others with wings, fangs, grow smaller or taller in seconds.
Until he saw the king and grew huge and attacked their family, now they felt uncomfortable with their shifts.
Now when he’s in danger instead of growing bigger they get smaller.

People from the country can shapeshift at will and body craft comes from the country even though no one remembers it. Usually shifters will grow bigger when in danger but siffrin gets smaller, itty bitty pocket sized.Series
