Summary
Much time has gone by since Cybertron came to Earth, but there is no peace. Unicron has risen once more, and he has set his sights on what remains of the Autobots. With his army, he plans to devour the galaxy, but not without the guidance and support of the restored Galvatron who hopes to bring back the Decepticon empire one last time.
With old and new allies, Optimus Prime must confront both the past and future to tackle the emerging threat and finally end the millennia spanning conflict. After centuries and centuries of skirmish there is one last fight.

Summary
It’s WW2, and the Autobot scout: ZB-Seven is stuck on a rescue mission in war-torn Italy. With his weapons fully loaded, and his mind on guard, he can’t help but find this mission a well needed escape from the human soldiers back home. Unfortunately for him, it seems they have still sent his irritating ex-Decepticon companion with him. If ZB-Seven is being honest with himself, this is the last person he wants around today.
Expect, things are not as they seem, and the two of may be heading to meet more than meets the eye. Today they are not just trying to fix their future, but also their past.
This fic takes place during the time-skip in chapter 36 of my other fic: Transformers Refugees, though reading that is not required to understand what’s happening in this one.
