"No," he answers, bringing his fingers up to touch gently across the three scars bisecting the bridge of his nose and his cheeks. "Sometimes I just… wonder. I wonder what to think of these. What they mean."
"You checked my pulse."
"This'll sound stupid, but were you scared?"
The Pit didn't completely fix Jason; it just put the pieces back together with glue.

Summary
“Don’t do medical here; are you insane?” Jason says, attempting to move. He terminates that attempt immediately when the knife in his abdomen sings with unbearable pain. The strangled mechanized groan he lets out from his throat seems to make everyone flinch.
“We have more recon to do.” Bruce informs very helpfully over the comms. “One of you should get Red Hood home and perform a proper medical assessment. Batgirl and I will finish up here—”
“Negative.” Cass chirps in over the line. Jason blinks, a little surprised. “I will go.”
Cass fixes Jason up after he gets injured on a mission; he's not used to hands this gentle.

“Cass?” He raises an eyebrow, setting the bat down against the back of the couch. “What are you doing here?”

Summary
“It’s Jason.”
Everyone in the room freezes. Suddenly, it goes very, very quiet. Kory and Raven share a concerned look. A feeling of pure horror runs down Dick’s spine.
“...what?”
“It’s— Something happened. To Jason.”
“What happened?”
Wally doesn’t answer. Donna furrows her brow, “Wally, what happened?”
“Jason’s dead.”
Kory and Raven share a collective gasp. Donna inhales. Dick blinks.
“...What?”
Dick spirals after his flock shatters. Wally is there to pick up the pieces.

Summary
He sets the first tire on the floor and is halfway through wrenching off the hubcap of the second one when footsteps sound from the entrance of the alley.
Jason freezes. Shit, someone is going to see him. He curls his wings over his body, intending to make himself as small and as dark as possible, using the dark brown of his wings to his advantage to blend into the night. He holds his breath as the footsteps get closer and closer to him before pausing at the threshold. A shadow illuminates itself over his body.
“Hello?” The voice asks. Jason flinches, his wings twitch as he does and alerting the person of his presence. The footsteps pad closer and closer, and as Jason stands up and turns around, bracing himself for a fight, he freezes.
That’s Batman. Holy shit, that’s the fucking Batman standing in front of him. Jason looks between him and the car, and then realizes that holy shit, this is Batman’s car. He is so fucked.
Jason Todd cannot fly. That doesn't stop him from finding out how to soar.

But he’s not, like, obsessive about it. He still eats, and most of the time it’s perfectly fine. He’s lucky that Alfred already cooks for a vigilante diet, so most of his meals are lean and filled with protein anyway. He’s just…more careful about it.
No one lingers or comments on how little Dick eats. Anyone who looks at him can deduce that he’s an athlete. Health-conscious eating comes with the territory, and being an acrobat at that means everyone expects him to stay lithe.
Besides—he’s Robin, isn’t he? Might as well eat like one.

Summary
Sanji rarely toys with his opponents. They usually say or do something stupid that inevitably pisses him off and he flattens them with a fiery kick, rearranges their bone structure, or... something of the sort.
This time, however, he toys with his opponent like a cat batting at a mouse, and it's driving Zoro mad.
Or: Zoro's crush on Sanji overrides his ability to notice Sanji's equally massive crush on him. Thank the lord for suits.

“You'd be sick too if that was the case, dumbass. ‘Sides, I can barely drink. Makes me fuckin’ nauseous, so either I'm dying or…” Kid sighs, “Well, I was thinkin’ about it and I guess I ain't been on the rag since we first made it to the New World."

“Cook,” Zoro said, in a voice filled with what could only be described as childish glee, “what does cilantro taste like to you?”
Sanji attempted to scoff, but his discomfort over how utterly thrilled Zoro looked right now made it come out more like a pouty huff. “What the fuck do you think, mosshead?” he asked. “It’s cilantro. It tastes like soap. Or can you not tell that because the algae in your brain has spread to your taste buds?”
In which Sanji is mildly devastated to learn he can’t properly taste cilantro, and Zoro proves surprisingly helpful in the kitchen.
