Summary
Jefferson Davis can’t lie to himself, as much as he tries. He and Miles have always butted heads-- his son just has this carefree, unfettered approach to life that Davis' strict, no-nonsense methods seemingly have no place in. A large part of him loves Miles for that, truly, even though sometimes Jefferson feels as if he's just slowing him down.
But now, with Miles away at school on weeknights-- seemingly always busy with something or another-- Jefferson has never felt that gaping space between himself and his son yawn wider.Enter the new Spider-Man. A free-spirited kid, five foot nothing and standing between the whole city and danger as if it’s his job, breaking a long series of minor laws with careless ease, and giving a certain cop heart palpitations on a regular basis.
Jefferson Davis can’t lie to himself anymore. No matter how much he hates vigilantes-- especially of the masked variety-- a child is a child. And a dad is a dad.

But when he opens his mouth, his words tangle up in the back of his throat, and all he can do is fumblingly bring his hand to his chin, before smacking its back to the palm of his other hand. 'Thank you,' he signs, and Saula gives a warm, big, laugh. The Gerudo weren’t completely familiar with Hylian sign language when he’d first arrived - but it seems his time in the town has led to a few of the more used signs becoming recognizable.
“Of course,” she says. “Every Vai deserves to feel beautiful!”
Or: Link spends time in Gerudo town, and grapples with liking being seen as a Vai a little too much.

Before Terry McGinnis became Batman, before they met Bruce Wayne, before their dad was murdered, before being sent to juvie, before their parents' divorce even, they knew one thing:
Jokerz were about as funny as a research essay assigned over one weekend.
So when Mayor Gordon comes to ask that they perform an especially... up-close investigation of strange new activity in the Jokerz ranks, they- reasonably- would rather take the research essay. Fate (or rather, Mr. Wayne, but really that was the same thing anyway) has other plans though, so until they can solve this mystery it's going to be bad makeup and worse jokes for them. Oh. Joy.

Danny had been drawing constellations on his skin, and writing to his soulmate for as long as he could remember, and he had never gotten a response, until one day, he did.
In sparkly purple ink written on his arm were the words, ‘Stop trying to contact me.’
Heartbroken and facing constant rejection from his family, friends, and peers, Danny flees into the ghost zone and ends up in another dimension. One filled with superheroes. Neat.
He finds himself in Central City, where he overhears a local hero talking about an incident with a 'bat boy' and a purple glitter gel pen that sounds dreadfully familiar.
Determined to change the mind of the soulmate that rejected him before they were able to meet, Danny sets out to Gotham city to find Red Robin.
He was going to make this guy want him, even if the only thing he wanted was Danny behind bars.

“Yeah well one just saved my life and made a joke about New York’s rat problems.”
Silence over the radio.Or, New York City isn't prepared for a ghostly invasion. The Avengers are finally all in the same place again. Thor and Bruce are back from space with a semi-reformed chaos god and a thousand refugees in tow. Steve and the Rogues have got their pardons and are ready to start being heroes again. But Tony isn't ready trust, neither is his new protegee Spiderman. The fractured team can't seem to come together. It's a good thing then that Danny Phantom is ready to save the day. That doesn't mean anyone is prepared for when he keeps showing up.

He'd do it himself, but he's a giant robot truck, so he can't exactly walk up to the guy at the impound lot and hand over his license and registration, and unfortunately she's the only human he knows that he doesn't think will immediately turn him over to the other giant robot trucks (and cars, and motorcycles, etc.).
