However, some part of him is so innately exhausted that it’s numb at the concept. “Upon either my own death or Gannon's I return in time. Over time the curse has strengthened, making the time loops more and more unhinged. The circumstances of my awakening are different every time, but are rarely fortunate. No one’s been able to so much as notice the curse, but I think it’s safe to say it’s evolved to carry a very potent curse of misfortune. There’s more to the curse, but it’s powerful and inconsistent enough it’s hard to pin down with a simple name.”

Summary
Light Yagami was on the fast track to success until he accidentally killed two men with a Death Note dropped by a rogue shinigami. The awful realization caused a tragedy in the making as he desperately tried to justify and rationalize what he'd done in order to cope. He became a serial killer known as Kira. When L, the world's greatest detective, took on his case, he thought the mysterious man was just another obstacle in the way of the delusional lies he told himself to keep going.
