The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

“Doesn’t matter. Can you heal it?”
This time, Tommy looks thoroughly offended. “Of course I can heal it. Who do you think I am?” He puffs out his chest and rolls his sleeves up, that dark look still lingering in his eyes.
Techno awkwardly sat down on the medical seat with prompting from Tommy. He expects Tommy to reach for some bandages or to use the sink built into a countertop to clean his wound.
What he is not expecting, however, is for Tommy’s scrawny yet corded arms to wrap around his head and violently snap. He barely has time to realize how awfully he just screwed up before the world goes dark and Techno dies.

It was surprisingly hard to keep a vigilante presence off the radar.
Somehow, it was when Tommy was using his identity that could literally turn invisible, that he’d been almost immediately clocked by the heroes. He’d really only been just starting to have a presence when the heroes cornered him about it. Surprisingly, instead of attempting arrest, they’d recruited him. And who was he to say no to free access to the hero database and nice bathrooms?
One power per secret identity, that was his rule, and he still had a couple more up his sleeve. The heroes could have one. As a treat. He was generous like that. He’d just take more care to keep his other identities off the radar.
Simple.
If only things worked out as planned. Somehow, it hadn’t taken long for his next vigilante persona to be noticed as well, though not by heroes this time.
“I hear you talk to ghosts.” Said a deadpan voice.--
Tommy can't help wanting to help, and he keeps getting powers so why not have more than one secret identity, yeah? Hero, vigilante, villain, coffee barista, and maybe one other.
Or I read so, so many vigilante fics that I caved in and stuffed all of my ideas into one fic.

Tommy was on this boat for a while now. He stopped counting the days after a month or two? He doesn't remember anymore. He crossed the worldborder of the Dream smp a long time ago.
Now he is just rowing around in the in-between servers, maybe people will forget that he ever existed.The closer Tommy got to the foreign worldborder the better he was able to see beyond it, and he couldn't believe what he saw. There was a building there, right behind the barrier. A man-made one. With writing on a billboard. He hadn't seen anything like this in forever.
It said "Welcome to Exile!" in big bold letters on banners.
Just a few hundred blocks away Jevin is losing his mind making up imaginary friends and starts thinking that the rest of the server doesn't care about him anymore, after he got exiled 30 million blocks away from the mainland.
Will they mend their wounds and scars together?

Tommy is swept away by the ocean during Doomsday and during his journey back to the Dream SMP he is forced to make a choice. Go back to the life he knew or make a new life for himself where he can keep his new child safe. He doesn't want to leave his friends in the dust, doesn't want to abandon them, but he can't trust that this child will remain safe in that environment, and he can't just abandon her. So he makes the choice to stay away, maybe picking up even more kids along the way.
