Nobody knows what goes on in Tyler Joseph's mind.
It's a strange, cataclysmic brilliance, as Josh had once described it. Constantly churning and working, creating and destroying like some sort of haunted machine without a switch. Even at rest, it felt as if he could never quite stand still. So how come when it mattered most, suddenly, everything fell to ruin, leaving craters in its wake?
Nobody knew what went on in Tyler Joseph's mind.
Because if they did, then maybe he wouldn't have gone missing that night in early November, and maybe Josh would've found a way to blame someone other than himself.
But sometimes, things aren't meant to make sense, not even when you look at them from a new perspective.

Summary
Mobius held out his arm, and for a brief moment, Loki caught a glimpse of them in the projector room. On the floor, being told he couldn’t, being told what he was and what he could never be. Then along comes Mobius, who’s ready to show him something new. What he could be, so long he trusts him. Loki reached up, taking his hand.
“I almost had it,” Loki said light-heartedly. Mobius chuckled, bringing his other hand under Loki’s shoulder to support him.
“I don’t doubt it.”
Loki laughed as he managed to clamber back onto the bed, and so did Mobius, both knowing very well Loki nowhere near had it. And for a moment there was a silence, before the guilt or the hurt set in. Maybe it was a shared silence, of relief, or maybe something new altogether. Whatever it was, Loki laid in it for a while, wishing it never would go away.

A Lokius Sickfic, conjured up by myself and a friend in Instagram DM's in which Loki has a fainting spell and falls ill, only to realize that maybe it isn't impossible that someone might care for him.

Summary
He didn't understand why Mobius took him on the case. Closure? Maybe. Or as just another weak attempt to gain his unbridled trust. What he does know, however, is that the person he thought he knew was a lie, while the person he was supposed to become laid trapped in his mind, held hostage by the evil he was supposed to conquer long before.
Long before everything he knew was lost.
So now, like a little boy rebuilding his castle from sand, Loki is faced with the question he thought he had had the answer to, but never had truly known.

Alex knew he wouldn't be able to sleep. Not that night, not for the next three nights. See, anytime he closed his eyes he could hear the bullet as it exploded from the barrel of the gun; see John as the color drained from his face, staggering backward trying everything he could to stay upright. He could feel his friend as he trembled in his arms, struggling to catch his breath; smell the pungent fumes of gun powder enveloping the two and taste his tears, feeling himself fall apart from the inside out.
So no, sleep wasn't really an option.

Summary
Sherlock Holmes always had prided himself on his cold, detached demeanor. Not feeling things is what he did best.
Naturally, all of that went out the window the night his best friend was shot. The night he watched John fall to the ground. Between the fear, the desperation; it was enough to make Sherlock break, and then some.
It was enough to make Sherlock feel. And quite frankly, it disgusted him. Truth be told, however, those next few days he realized something. Something he would never dream of happening.
That maybe, heaven forbid, having feelings wasn't so bad.

From the elation of coming back and seeing his friends again, to the sorrowfulness of losing his most prized item, and not to mention the feelings he just couldn't find the right words to explain. Whatever he had felt, it didn't matter to him in the moment. He gently held the small form of Pickett the Bowtruckle, who he thought was gone, along with the rest of the beasts, forever...
But apparently he had been mistaken. The case was still out there.
And he wasn't about to stop at anything to get it back, with a little help, of course.

Newt was pushed a lot, but rarely fell.
Well not literally anyways.
It wouldn't be the first time he found himself alone like this. Holding his broken leg and covered in blood.Thomas had no memories or an idea on how Newt got his limp in the first place, but that was far from his mind when he found the boy leaned against a tree, badly hurt right next to that steep edge. It wasn't until after, he realized that wasn't the first time he'd seen Newt like that.
(Two times Thomas saw Newt badly hurt and the one time he was able to be there with him.)

Newt didn't die, but he feels anything but alive. Maybe it was the fact people treat him like he's gonna rip out their throats if they say one wrong thing. He should be grateful after everything that happened, but its hard to be so when you feel like nothing even matters. They called him the glue, glue's supposed to hold things together. Glue is pretty useless when its falling apart.

He looked up. Her face had softened, and seemed sad almost. The look felt like a punch to the gut.
“Because.”
“Because why?”
He looked into her eyes, not letting go of contact. “Because I don't want you getting hurt.” He lowered his voice. “I love you, if anything happened to you, I would never forgive myself.”(Newt is called back to fight in battle)

Newt Scamander has returned to New York and things couldn't be better. The old group is back, and a spark is reignited between him and Tina. Alas, all good things must come to an end, some quicker than others. It doesn't take long for the four to realize there's something going on, and they are right in the midst of it. What's supposed to be a quick visit from Newt turns into a spiral of mystery, loss, and grief, and everyone is left wondering "What else could possibly go wrong?".
No, nothing is ever that simple.
