She's full of so much freaking pride.It's just she's also full of stress, so much stress that when Klaus comes to her with the perfect solution she doesn't listen to that little voice in the back of her head telling her accepting his help in her moment of need is a bad idea.
She really should have trusted her instincts.

He should be dead.
"Don't say that," orders an exasperated, yet not unkind, voice from somewhere above him. "You're lucky I found you when I did. You were burning up."
And Johnny huffs out a laugh, despite himself, despite the circumstances and the rising panic in his throat.
