In this story, Will is 11 years old, and Vecna completely forgets all his evil plans and ends up babysitting him instead. Will is extremely mischievous, and Vecna is just trying to keep him alive in the Upside Down. The fact that the Sun's rays seemed to bend their backs like that of flowers' stems to ensure Ze looked just...well, um...eye-catching, wasn't convenient. It honestly wasn't really convenient in any situation to find your worst frienemy attractive, to be frank. Especially while he was either extremely vulnerable or pissed off enough to shove a gun into your temple with...generally no hesitation. There was no in-between.
Ze was so fucking awful. He was everything Regect could ever want; it was devastating.
alternatively: regect has intrinsic questions that barely qualify as questions and he finds the answers himself. or "the author has no idea why he wrote this and just thought itd be a funny productive use of his time"

Maybe their ending could change now. Assimilation knows of the notes and how supposedly this wasn’t their first time. But maybe it wasn’t meant to go like this. To have his heart beat so roughly in his chest while he carried Andre, the poor speedrunner’s face being half blown off. He wasn’t sure he would be able to fix the poor AI, fix his chest, the diamond armor being no match for the admin as it had been pierced right through. He somehow lived, somehow in the sense that he was lucky enough to not be brutally torn apart by the admins supposed guns. Now all he could was carry poor Andre as he treaded through, they were going to collect him, but he swooped in at the last second and took Andre into his arms. They were still in the overworld, still had the admins chasing them, and still weren’t free yet.

Assimilation and Andre are on the run from the admins, but are also trying to figure out their new purpose in life while having to deal with the impending thoughts of their old tasks.
