Summary
Sendoh takes Rukawa down to Okinawa on a fishing trip that'll take them approximately 2 weeks of sharing Sendoh's 1978 Toyota Corolla. It's Sendoh's last summer as a high schooler and he wants to get good memories from it. Hikoichi was supposed to go but flaked out last minute so they're on their own. Quickly enough they find that they'd been ignoring their feelings. When you're out in the world, you're bound to meet and see people. These people end up taking a bit of you with them and leaving some of them in you.

Ultimamente ho riletto uno dei miei manga preferiti, Slam Dunk. Le avventure del mitico Tensai ancora una volta mi hanno fatto morire dal ridere, emozionare e sospirare. Si, sospirare. Chi non ha sospirato, almeno per le fans ;) , sulla coppia Hanamichi Sakuragi e Kaede Rukawa? Adore tutte le HanaRu e le RuHana che ho letto negli anni. Quindi, visto che sto rivedendo anche l'anime (cartone animato), mi sono rimessa a scrivere di questa coppia il Do’aho e la Kitsune più famosi del mondo. Niente di impegnativo, tutte storie autoconclusive che vanno a cosa è successo dopo...

"I'd originally thought of getting Terry Reid in as lead singer and second guitarist but he had just signed with Mickie Most as a solo artist in a quirk of fate. He suggested I get in touch with Robert Plant, who was then in a band called Hobbstweedle. When I auditioned him and heard him sing, I immediately thought there must be something wrong with him personality-wise or that he had to be impossible to work with, because I just could not understand why, after he told me he'd been singing for a few years already, he hadn't become a big name yet. So I had him down to my place for a little while, just to sort of check him out, and we got along great. No problems."
And the rest, as they say, is history.
So, dazed, yes. Confused? Not for long. (Or for the rest of their lives.)

Summary
This is my *personal* One True Pairing canon timeline series for Robert Plant/ Jimmy Page. It's a story set as far as I am able right up against reality so dates, people, places, are as fully researched as possible. Partners, children, crew, are all present and Jimmy and Robert's story is about falling in love in the midst of other loves and other events - a love broken and repaired many times. I'm writing chronologically* starting with 'Push Push' in May 1969 and I plan to write through to Page/Plant times. Though each story can be read in its own right they make more sense as a larger work and refer to each other.
This is fiction as real as I can make it.*ok my chronology with shorter works is out the window of a limo in the motorcade; it's up a tree with a squirrel in Wales; it's under a rock in north Africa. I'm just going with it. (October 2020)

Summary
In 1975 the band was at its absolute peak, the Black Dragon was at its mightiest, and it was the apotheosis of the Golden God.
That year, Jimmy and Robert travelled to Morocco.
It wasn't their first trip alone together, but it was many weeks long, and it left a deep, enduring mark. When they reunited for Page/Plant in the mid 90s, this is the place they chose to find their groove again. Not many years ago, Robert did the thing he does of telling the press he wishes they would go again, Jimmy and him. (Just pick up the fucking phone, old man.) (NO! I'll make an entire album instead!) (Fine by me anyway. I love that album.)
Very soon after that journey in 1975, disaster struck in the form of a near-fatal car crash which left Robert wheelchair bound for months. He recovered, but things were just not the same after that.
Based on Achilles Last Stand, we fantasise about how it might be in Jimmy's heart and mind in those days, before everything started to fall apart, as well as some terrible, ominous hindsight from his present-ish self, who knows what happens in the next chapter.
