Summary
Qui-Gon has a tendency to bring home pathetic lifeforms, but his involvement usually ends there. The Maverick, Master of the Living Force, is really not the best at follow-through. After years with his master, Obi-Wan Kenobi has adapted to Qui-Gon’s habits. But a slave boy from Tatooine is not remotely similar to an exotic carnivorous plant or a misunderstood kept pet monster.
On the journey back to Coruscant, Obi-Wan Kenobi starts doing what he always does: handling the numerous crucial details of making Qui-Gon’s latest spacebrained adoption work (or, at least, conveying the newest pathetic lifeform to its best sanctuary, preserve, or forever home). This time, Qui-Gon notices. So does the pathetic lifeform. And Anakin Skywalker’s new forever home might be with Obi-Wan himself.
An AU where Obi-Wan Kenobi gets a little more credit from the start; the Force likes Obi-Wan and Anakin together; everyone gets a choice; and after the occupation, Padmé pays her planet’s debts in a way that matters.

Summary
When trying to transfer Shen Yuan from the real world to Proud Immortal Demon Way, the System runs into an error. The transfer is not complete.
Shen Yuan is dropped off at the foot of a mountain aware of two things: he's in the story, and the Shen Qingqiu of this world is not only aware but thinks he tried to possess his body — and he's PISSED. Shen Yuan tries to opt out and live a simple life on what locals tell him is a monster-infested mountain no one in their right mind would bother with.
Sounds like a great hiding spot!

It’d be one thing if someone went back in time themselves and tried to change a whole bunch of things. That would have been all fine and dandy by Nie Huaisang as long as they included ‘save da-ge’ on their list of things to change, but no, no, they had for whatever reason also dragged his own consciousness back in time along with them. And not only that, not only that, they had also picked the worst possible time to bring him back to.
See, whatever important life moment was happening in their life around that the time that they’d chosen to come back to, it happened to be happening at the exact same moment that Nie Mingjue was suffering his final, fatal qi deviation.

On the run from his parents, Danny has to find a way to block his ectosignature so he can stay hidden. The device he creates sure comes in handy when he's applying to an internship at Wayne Enterprises!
Basically, Kryptonite has an ectosignature and Danny figures out how to block it.
This is based off of the idea that Ectoplasm is the essence of death and a bit is released when a person died. When Krypton was destroyed, there was enough ectoplasm released that it soaked into the debris of the planet. Kryptonians are so affected because those rocks physically and supernaturally remind them of the death of their people and the possibility of their own deaths.
