Liam flung himself off of the table he was lying on and threw himself at Theo, knocking him to the ground. Liam punched him in the nose and then put his hands around his throat. “What did you do to me?” Liam growled, eyes flashing.
Theo didn’t even try to struggle. He was just looking at Liam with this betrayed expression that sickened him. He wanted to wipe it off of Theo’s face. He brought one of his fists back — keeping the other around Theo’s throat — and someone caught it. Liam whirled on them. It was Scott.
“Liam, you don’t want to do that,” Scott said, pleading. “I know this is hard to understand, but I think you’ve forgotten —“
“I haven’t forgotten anything,” Liam snapped. “Trust me, I remember every last thing he did to me.”

“It’s not ‘just’ anything. It’s only going to get worse if you don’t do this soon, and I don’t see why you’d wait if you’re already in pain,” Liam pointed out.
“I can handle it,” Theo said resolutely, and Liam rolled his eyes.
“That makes me feel so much better,” Liam drawled, pressing his foot down gently on the gas pedal as the light turned green.

They were never really all that different from each other, anyway.
That was, until recently.
After he witnessed his newly acquainted friend Sherlock get shot in the abdomen by the princess, who we now know is actually called Xiao Wei and is in fact not a princess, the nightmares had changed.~

Scott’s age is Rozanov’s favorite topic, but now that Scott has come out, he shudders to think about what Rozanov will throw at him this season.

Ilya tore down the hallway at a pace that forced Hayden into a jog just to keep up. Somehow, impossibly, he knew exactly where to go. By the time Hayden caught up, Ilya had already pushed through the Voyageurs' locker room doors.
Conversations died immediately.
Every head turned.
Ilya Rozanov, the sleep paralysis demon of half the NHL, stood in the middle of their locker room with his attention fixed on exactly one person.
Or, Shane is faced with some homophobic “fans” after a Montreal-Ottawa game and has a panic attack. Ilya is the only one in the building who can help.
