Scorpius is staring back at him, in wait of something new to learn, a beautiful and intelligent child. He has Draco's mind. He has Draco's eyes and nose and mouth and hair. He is his. All his. All he has of Michael are his wild curls and the green of his eyes, and sometimes he looks into them and imagines that they aren't Michael's, but someone else's.

Summary
After getting kicked out of his apartment because, frankly, he couldn't afford the studio and medical bills, Remus Lupin tried living out of his work's locker room. This only results in his termination. Six months later, it's the middle of January; he lives in his car, which has an empty tank, and is in constant pain. He can't keep even a job at a convenience store and is just barely getting by. Personally, he's absolutely miserable and rather pissed off at Death. The coward is nowhere to be seen, and Remus wants out.
Sirius Black loved driving. Which paid off in Regulus's favor. Ever since 'the accident' Sirius has driven his younger brother around without complaint. Unfortunately for Regulus, Sirius just pulled over at the beach at midnight and was now running towards the water.

Thank you to the Wolfstar Microfics account on Tumblr for the prompt, "dog days," which sparked the idea for this fluffy little tale.
Chapter 9 is entirely smut and its content is a major reason why this fic has an E rating. But it's possible to skip chapter 9 entirely and still understand the story. Without that chapter (and a bit of chapter 10) the fic is rated Mature.Series

“You’re no fun.” James sighed, "Siri, it's your turn.”
“My turn for what?”
“Truth or dare?” James said pleasantly.
He sighed and tried to open his eyes again. “Dare.”
“Brilliant!” James swayed against the wall he was leaning on, “I dare you to text this number!” He said, pointing to the wall next to the farthest mirror.
He walked over to the wall, finding the number written in blocky black Sharpie with 'Text for a good time' and something slightly resembling a winky face doodled underneath it.
