As it is close proximity to the space outside of the Chaos, Ar'alani hopes he will be able to gather information on Jedi or the Force that might help Eli's Sky-walker research. Hermione looked at Luna across the low table at their favorite coffee shop. She was smiling softly down at her Muggle cellphone and tapping away at the screen. Luna had been one of the first of Hermione’s wizard-raised friends to get on board with the Muggle tech and kept in touch with many friends far and wide via text and email.
“Who are you texting now, Luna?” Hermione asked, sipping her favorite white mocha breve. “Some wizard in Latvia?”
Luna glanced up and simply smiled at her friend, setting the phone on the table and picking up her drink.

Hermione knew she was good with kids but this was beyond the pale. She had been called down to Emergency for a 6 month old infant boy, the original diagnosis was splinching as he had been apparated in with an injured adult but the minute Hermione looked at him she knew better and immediately cast the counter curse and began healing the open wound on the child’s chest. Someone had cast a sectumsempra on him. The Cutting curse. What sort of person would do that to a baby? It couldn't have been an accident. The hit had been dead on and with a target that small it had to have been deliberate.

She just happens to stumble across Draco Malfoy doing the same. Grief makes strange companions, and after one uneasy meeting they make a strange pact: same bar, same night, every year. Neither expects the other to hold up their end of the arrangement. Neither admits how much they need it.

2) Said firstie adopting an erkling as if they didn’t feed on children.To protect his little nuisance, he’ll have to seek help from uncomfortable places, including the Swottiest Witch of Her Age. Joy of all joys.
